2-Way intercom between groups of phones
We really need a way to intercom between groups of phones. We need our front desk group to be able to 2-way intercom with our treatment area group. We had this with our previous phone system and it saved us so much time. It was a huge disappointment that it isn't possible with Weave.

We need this feature too. Currently I can only intercom one phone and not everyone in treatment is going to hear it. If I could intercom a group of phones (and not have it interupt any in that group that are on a call) they would be more likely to hear it. We're an ER, I have to call back to have patients triaged asap, because paging goes to all phones it has horrible feedback and no one can hear. Now we're having to leave the phones up front, walk back to treatment and holler.
This has been a real challenge since switching over to the new Yealink phones. Intra-office calls between employees were handled by a phone-based intercom. One would push a button on one's phone to contact someone at another station in the office and a beeping would sound on the recipient's phone. The beep was easily identified as an intra-office communication, completely different than the sound (ring) the phone would make for an incoming call. Looking at the screen to see who's calling was unnecessary - it was one co-worker calling another.
With the Weave system, calling another phone in the office is easy enough with the 3 digit #, BUT on the receiving end it sounds identical to an incoming call, and unless you look at the phone's screen, you can't tell the difference. This comes into play for me in the exam rooms and my back office. I don't need the constant distraction of rings from incoming calls in my exam rooms or my back office - my front desk people handle those. However, notification by my employees during patient exams is important.
So, what is needed is a separation of incoming call notification and intra-office calls, if at all possible.
