Automated text reply after hours
Have a customizable automated text reply when Weave is texted after office hours. This is very straightforward as it's the text version of our office vmail or an out-of-office response in email. This should be a standard feature.

It is 10:13 pm on a Saturday night currently and a patient just text in stating they will not be able to make it on Monday. For non-emergency cases, our patients that call after hours receive a prompt by our voicemail to call during business hours to make changes to existing appointments or to create new appointments and receive first priority. Why can’t we have an auto reply feature, that acts like a voicemail, for after hours text messages?

My medical Dr’s office just state Ted using text messages. When I text them after hours, I get an immediate text message saying “Thank you for your message, we are currently out of the office, and will respond during our normal business hours.”
Very important for patients to know and when they can expect a response. If it’s an urgent matter that can’t wait, they will know to contact us another way. -

This is an important feature and worth prioritizing its development. We had a patient text us with an emergency not realizing it was after hours. We did not respond til the next business day. It makes us look bad and causes a potential liability for us.

This is a great idea. When we use Weave to text patients and then leave the office they don't know you are not on a cell phone. This leaves the patient thinking you are not responding to them. It would be great if you could toggle this feature on/off so they know not to expect a response.

But not all numbers that call in are mobile numbers, some are land lines and cannot be texted automatically.
