Recurring Payment Plan
PAYMENTS - We would like to see a Recurring Payment Plan that automatically charges a set card an amount agreed upon with patient, and a printable contract for the patient to sign. Electronic Lockbox (our current Merchant) does this and the patients love it.
I'm pleased to provide the update that our new Payment Plan feature has been released today. Payment Plans allows for the ability to schedule automated, recurring payments to help customers pay off their bills over time. This new feature can be found in the Weave Portal under the "Payments" section.

I love that this has been added, but I am unsure as to why it was designed to only be in 3 month increments? It should be fully customizable, as far as time frame goes, I wouldn't want to have to go a 3 month or 6 months payment plan if patient could pay it off in 2 or 4 months. We currently use another platform for payments plans, we were planning to switch once Weave added this feature, but we are not able to switch until this has been updated.

The update is a good start, but it is not customizable enough. We need to ability to charge a custom amount (say, $100) over a specific period of time, (say, 4 months). It is also not clear if the name of the Payment Plan and the Memo text will go to the patient.

Hi Weave Support,
Since Weave allows the provider to Save Credit Card on File for future payments from patients, it would simply be a button that allows recurring payments. By clicking “Recurring Payments”, the provider would select the amount, frequency, and # of times to charge the account, based on the contract agreement between the patient and the provider.
This would work for offices that sell multiple pairs of glasses, contact lenses, and for ongoing treatment for medical eye care such as orthokeratology or dry eye treatment.
It would also work well in an orthodontist office.
Let me know if there are any plans to implement this feature. I think users like myself would LOVE IT!!!! -

There are two issues that are irritating to me while working, both having to do with the payment system. 1. Weave does not allow me to print a receipt from the app. I have to log into the weave payment portal website in order to do this and that takes me extra time. It should give me the option to print, text, and email receipt. 2. Weave payment portal should have to ability to set up recurring payments. All other payment systems I have worked with have this function. Having to remind myself to manually run patient payments who are on a payment plan takes up too much of my time. I am the only front office person and I often have a line of patients waiting to be helped. This would free up my time and extra steps.

1)Please allow patients to select from a range of amounts to make payments on their balance due. For example: If a patient wants to pay their $153 balance due over 3 months, allow them to select to pay $51 and select the day of the month the payments will auto draft from their card on file.
2)Please integrate payments received to post directly into the patient account in Eaglesoft. -

First off, LOVE that we can save cards on file. Hoping that we'll eventually be able to set up AUTO PAY to set it and forget it. For large ticket items, we'd love to offer monthly payment plans, but don't want to deal with the hassle of remembering to process the cards. Thanks in advance to your developers for all the improvements we've been blessed with already!

Hi! I was on the phone with one of your representatives, Ike Johansson (whom was absolutely amazing and helpful :-) ), and I would liketo bring up an idea about Text to Pay. I believe it would really help the office by somehow setting up automated text on a specific date of the month for a patient to be reminded to pay. This way the bill being pay does not depend on a live person in the office who might miss certain bills. It would help A LOT an office like ours.

A way to set up recurring payments until a balance is paid, or send automated monthly payment reminder texts with a link to pay on the account.

We just changed to Weave and are using the stripe credit card system.
We used to be able to have automatic payments come out if patients set up a payment plan.
We would greatly appreciate if weave could set up an automatic credit card withdrawal system.

For this ortho office we bill monthly over the term of the contract of the patient. It would be very helpful if there could be a way to set up automated messages/text to pay messages like you would receive with a cell phone bill. Thank you!

This would be huge. Even if the text simply stored the credit card in Stripe, allowing us to then set up their recurring payment details from the Stripe dashboard.
