Missed text auto reply
We would really love an option for "auto reply to text messages" Example: Closed for holiday weekend. If a patient texts us, it would be nice if an automatic reply could be set that informs patient we got msg, but are closed until (date) and we will respond when we get back into the office.
This is now available to all locations! (Unless you're on the Essentials bundle - sorry!) Just go to Portal > Messages > Auto-Messaging and configure a new auto-message! The section labeled Missed Text will be grayed out until you create a Missed Text message.

To have an auto-text if a text is received after closed hours. Currently there is only an auto-text for a call received during closed hours. We need an auto-text capability for when someone texts us during closed hours. We are looking to onboard 4 more departments, but looking to have this enhancement complete before moving.

It would be nice to have the option to set up an auto reply for after hours and over weekends when we're closed. Almost every Monday, we come into a slew of frantic messages from clients trying to contact us.

Actually, the URGENT subroutine could be available for open times as well, after 5 minutes the patient message could say (custom), "Sorry for the delay in response, if this is URGENT, reply URGENT to this text. Then Weave could send both text and email as specified. I appreciate your listening and really hope that this feature can be implemented so I can have patient simply text URGENT to the office and I can get a notification 24/7, without having to monitor my texts. The URGENT action and notification should be available all the time open/closed and anytime a patient texts URGENT to the office. Then my post-op can just say "text URGENT to me 24/7 and I will be notified and call you." Currently at night, I don't want to get appointment confirmations, so I turn off Weave notifications, but occasionally patients try to text me.
Patients don't "call" anymore, they depend on texting, especially younger patients. Thanks again for all your great work. Weave is a fantastic product and I will continue to use it as long as you continue to improve the features available. David -

Currently, I have to monitor texts, majority are confirmation texts, but I would like to know about URGENT texts without having to monitor so closely, and possibly change the text number to a staff member if I am away, and they only will be notified with an URGENT text message. I like the idea of URGENT protocol to differentiate between appointments and surgical issues.

This is HUGE! Patients need a confirmation that their text has been received.. We are plastering "text us!" everywhere. However we are open Tuesday-Friday, so often we are getting frustrated texts on Monday, people who don't know that we are closed. You already have the "text connect" service with open/closed messages.
When "closed", only 1 message per day, a custom message.
When "open", a response if the text has not been answered within 5 minutes (custom time), and custom response. "We have received your text and will get back to you as soon as possible, we are currently helping other patients but your text is important."
URGENT text, when closed, the message could say, "If this is URGENT, reply URGENT to this message and the doctor will be contacted. "
Then have option to TEXT the doctor "urgent text received", and/or email the doctor (custom), "urgent text received".Additionally, anytime an unanswered text when OPEN, have the option to send an email which says, "you have unanswered text waiting for you", sent to main email box, or any. Also option for text to doctor (in case we forgot to close the office on Weave).

When someone texts the office when we are closed, I would like them to receive an automated text letting them know we are not in the office and will respond once we are back in the office. Our hours tend to vary, so people do not know week over week when we are in and when tey can expect a response.

Another vote for this feature to become available. When we close for vacation, we're able to set up a voicemail message and email auto-replies, but no text auto-replies. So clients that only text us during this time frame have no indication that we're closed and their messages aren't being monitored.

We would love to have a customizable response when a patient texts in after hours. For example, let the patient know we are closed and our hours are ...... If this is an emergency please call the office to get connected with the answering service.

Would love an auto-reply text message feature, especially when we are closed for holidays or long weekends. Can give the patients the correct information on how to handle a situation or if it's not an emergency then they know we are not ignoring them and will help them out when we return to the office.

This would be incredible. It would let patients know that we are not monitoring and if they have an emergency they can call, rather than waiting for a reply to sms that is not going to come until the next business day.

When a provider is not in office due to vacation we get lots of request for that day because Dentrix and weave aren't communicating the provider is out of office. would like a simple feature to let weave know no appointments available for that provider.

Really need a feature to text a client back when clinic is closed. Had a client text with an emergency instead of calling and they didn't get a response bc text aren't monitored when the offices are closed. It would be similar to text back for a missed call but just an auto response for texts that come through when clinic is closed. This also could apply for when we are closed for holidays, meetings, etc. Just a way to fully communicate with client.
