Missed text auto reply
We would really love an option for "auto reply to text messages" Example: Closed for holiday weekend. If a patient texts us, it would be nice if an automatic reply could be set that informs patient we got msg, but are closed until (date) and we will respond when we get back into the office.
This is now available to all locations! (Unless you're on the Essentials bundle - sorry!) Just go to Portal > Messages > Auto-Messaging and configure a new auto-message! The section labeled Missed Text will be grayed out until you create a Missed Text message.

I have actually mentioned this a few times to customer support at Weave -- we need to have something similar to an automatic "out of office" e-mail feature for texts when practices are closed. We will be closed for the Memorial Day weekend, and although we have sent out an e-mail to clients reminding them of this, we'd like to make sure that if they send a text while we are closed, that they receive an automatic text in response stating that we are closed and that we will respond once we are back in the office (and we'd like to be able to send out a similar automatic text when we are closed for the evening). Thanks!

We need an option for auto response to incoming texts when we are closed that states we will respond when we are back in the office.

To have texting bounce back to owners if they text us during closed hours so they know we will get back to them when we are open. Ex: Client texts us during closed hours asking a question, but we are closed. Weave has a bounce back text that says- we are closed but we will get back on our next business day...something like that. Thanks. Also to integrate w/ CS so medical info can be in the medical record with out downloading and attaching. Like what Petdesk does.

We are a small animal hospital and despite several emails to our clients informing them that text messages aren't monitored after business hours, we still have some clients texting for urgent medical advice in the middle of the night. When clients call after hours, they get the automatic missed call text but if they text and don't call, then there is no reply to their text. I'd love to have an automatic after hours text message reply to clients that text (and don't call) letting them know that we're closed, if there is an urgent need, please go to the local ER, etc. Thank you!

We need an auto reply text to go to patients that text us when the office is closed. If they call in the auto reply text explains that we are closed and may not see their message until the office is open and to call a specific number if they need to speak with the doctor. But we are having current patients that have texted us in the past send messages in the middle of the night or on weekends when no one will see them and then they are angry no one has responded. If after hours a text comes in that is not connected to a missed phone call we need to be able to send an auto reply reminding them the office is closed and they can reach the doctor through the answering service. Currently we are getting a lot of angry patients and it's almost better to not have a texting capability at all.

We love the the missed call text option. It would be WONDERFUL if someone TEXTED us after hours that they go the same message auto texted back to them. We had a client text after hours and I'm not sure why they didn't call but it went unanswered because there is no way to auto text them back. Thanks!!

An auto reply text for hours closed that notifies customers who text (not call) that we are unable to respond back until open business hours.
I can post this on our website, but that's not going to catch every customer. And I have notified customer when they CALL that it may be 24-48 business hours before we can reply. But this customer didn't call, they just sent a text and then waited :/ -

After hours text response. It would be a very helpful feature to manage patients.
I envision an autotext that happens when all texts are sent after hours "Thank you for messaging us, the office is currently closed. We will get back to you during normal business hours, if this is an emergency, please call 911..."
This would be helpful for maximizing the happiness of patients as well as medical-legal compliance as patients sometimes text concerns and then feel abandoned if someone is not answering their texts at all hours, even though its no the appropriate place to communicate urgent concerns

Texting/Messaging - it would be GREAT to have the ability to set your texting/messaging to send back a "we are currently closed" or personalized message when clients text your business after hours. We are a medical practice and our clients have been texting in with an emergency after hours multiple times when they should be seeking emergency care.

I really could use an auto text response right now. So if a patient texts our office I can have an auto text sent right back saying " we are not in the office right now but we will be returning/responding to your text ASAP"

Our office would like a feature that allows an auto text reply to go out to patients who text us outside of regular office hours, in much the same way that they get an auto-text if the call outside of office hours

We love texting to patients. Although some patients report that they are receiving texts from a (551) area code. I don't know if that's from Weave or another service that we need to disable. When we get after-hours sms, can we set up an auto-reply message? Perhaps something like, "We will get back to you during our hours of operation" Or something to that affect?

It would be great to have an "office closed" auto-reply for text messages received when our office is closed.
