Patient Communication Preferences
As a long time, former Solution Reach client, the number 1 request we want is the ability to see our patients' communication preferences for text and email. We need to be able to disable either or since patients have already communicated to us their preference. This would be SUPER helpful.
Also, allowing us to customize our Auto Reminder email content on our own (without having to call support) with the ability to send test emails to ourselves would be help.

We will be releasing new functionality a bit later this year to allow users to modify their email reminders.

Is there a way to separate patients who wish to NOT receive birthday text messages, but still would like appointment reminders?

We would like to see the ability to customize patient communication preferences. This would include email / text / review communications. Some patient do not want to receive specific texts, but don't want to opt out of all. An even better idea would be to have the HIPAA selections automatically save to patient profiles so that they can opt in or out there as well.

Our EHR system Crystal has a setting under the patient's contact information that allows us to mark if they have declined texting. Please consider using this feature for us to communicate with weave when a patient does not want to receive text messages. It would be nice to be able to mark them as Declined texting then for this setting to opt them out of texting on weave.

Why is there not a way for a patient to opt out of automatic reminders but still be able to text with our office? One of your competitors offered this and it was so helpful! Please add this capability.

We have a patient who does not celebrate her birthday due to trauma, but wants text reminders. She was very disappointed I was not able to opt her out of the birthday reminders. It would be nice if there was a way to toggle this off under the patient settings (where you can select their language preference).

Some elderly patients have a hard time with the text messaging. It would be nice if there was a way to manually turn off sending text messages to them, without them having to opt out on their end.

In the past, we have used multiple companies for reminders. DemandForce, Lighthouse, Solution Reach. We were able to confirm by email OR text by pt preference. Able to opt them out of some messages specifically. Very disappointed that Weave does not have that option. Our pts are not liking this new system in comparison to what we've used in the past. I am suggesting that you expand your reminders so that "John" can receive only reminder Texts and that "Mary" can receive only emails. "Suzie" wants to opt out of newsletters/campaigns, but wants her reminders. Other companies do it. We'd love for you to rate up there on top.... without options like this, it's hard for me to say you are top notch! Thanks for your consideration! -Tammy J

Please note: Our office is not "fully integrated". We would like to be able to add a patient to Weave and while adding them be able to "opt out" of texting before we ever have the chance to send them a text. Out patients over 60 are real firm about no texting. We don't want to have to wait to send one and irritate them. Most of them don't even understand how to opt out by texting STOP etc. Please consider this option. Thank you, Krissie

Be able to dictate different text messages for different types of appointments. Ex: surgery appointments will have information regarding fasting protocols, but regular appointments will not.
Be able to turn off automatic text messaging for appointment confirmations for types of appointments. -

Hi there! I would like to suggest adding a feature that lets you opt a patient out of either email or text appointment reminders, without un-checking the box in Eaglesoft. I have a bunch of patients who still want to receive our emails, but only want to receive appointment reminders via text!

We would love it if you would allow us to be able to customize each patient's preferences for automated messages. That way patients who don't want several reminders don't have to stop message completely

I had a patient call to tell me to turn off her recall notifications so i called to see how we can do that every other company i have worked with has had individual patient notifications toggle switches to turn on or turn off the different notifications. I would highly recommend having these available in the desktop app so we can modify settings as patients ask

1- The office should have the capability of manually removing a patient from being Opted out instead of patient having to text us first. There are times we need to contact the patient other than reminding them of an appointment.
