Communication and Online Scheduling
Our office recently purchased the Web Assistant program in hopes of helping our scheduling load. Initially, we were told that our practice management software, Officemate, would be fully integrated with Weave. However, we were not told until after we signed up with Web Assistant that Officemate could not integrate with the online scheduling system. This miscommunication created a big scheduling hurdle for our office. A great feature to include for offices that cannot integrate their PMS would be to allow customization of schedule availability for different practitioners. Since our doctors have different schedules, it is important to distinguish that and not have patients schedule for an appointment when a doctor is not available. In the future, I think it would be great to clearly communicate to offices whether or not their PMS would be integrated with all features (ie. Web Assistant). A "waiting list" of sorts for offices with PMS's that are not currently supported, and that would be contacted after support is introduced, would be wonderful. I think Weave is a great system and has really helped our workflow, but clearer communication would strongly improve the product. Thank you.
