Adjustable Time Early or Pull Arrival Time from Practice Management System in Text Message Reminders
We have different appointment types. Each one requires the patient to arrive early at different intervals (depending on their appointment type). Our practice management software (Nextech) has a separate arrival time vs scheduled time so if that could be a selection for appointment reminders, that would be ideal... OR if the Time Early feature in Weave could allow for different options to select the appropriate allotment by the appointment type, that would work too.
This is now live! In Auto-Messaging, you can adjust the Time Early field (now called 15 Minutes Early) to be any of the following values: 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. This is specific to the reminder, so it's possible to have one reminder with a 60 minutes early setup and another with 15 minutes early.
Again, these settings are now in Portal > Messages > Auto-Messaging.

While this has offered some relief, we still have instances where we need the practice management system and Weave system to be able to sync according to arrival times list on the practice management side. For instance, we have a client that would like topical for a procedure we don't normally offer it for. The text reminder still goes out for the appointment time not an arrival time b/c we can't isolate for one client.

We truly need the ability to customize to our patients needs and our needs as a practice. We have different arrival times for different appointments. We needed this when we first started with Weave back in 2021.

We are the same as many. Patients that are full or new patient exams take more time and need to check in before their apt time and people with just rechecks do not really need to check in.

We need reminders for sedation appointments to tell patients to arrive at a time 1 hour before their scheduled appointment time (so we can administer medication 1 hr before the surgery procedure). Currently, this option is not available within WEAVE. We asked about this feature during the demo process and were assured that Weave could do this. After the fact, we were told that it could not be, forcing us to continue to use our old appointment reminder vendor to continue sending ACCURATE appointment reminders at the cost of $653.26 per month! PLEASE EXPEDITE UPDATE EFFORTS to add this vital option to our TWO OFFICES so we can fire our current appointment reminder vendor and utilize WEAVE FULLY and save US the $653.26 each month as originally planned!! We have a similar need as well. To be honest the whole text messaging system is underwhelming in terms of its capabilities. Someone below stated the need to arrive early based on type of exam. We are able to work around this because we can assign exam types to the Text that is sent out (so you can put the need to arrive early in the comprehensive exam msg vs the follow up message) but the office either sends a wall of text, too many texts, or information overload. We need more categories to choose from and a way to tie a follow up message to the initial message.

We have appointments that are quick 15 minute appointments and ones that are 30 minutes.
The quick ones are like rechecks, contact lens checks. Things were we have all the patients info already.
The 30 minute ones are for full exams.
We need paperwork and pretesting done for most of those.SO we need reminders that tell patients to come 15 minutes early for the full exams and only 5 minutes early for the quick ones.

When creating a text message to go out, there is a "time early" tab. This is a 15 min early tab. Can this tab be editable in order to personalize it to our practice? 98% of our patients need a 30 min early arrival time.
