When a patient cancels an appointment through text, we need for the appointment to fall off our Eaglesoft Schedule.
On Eaglesoft's schedule page, you will notice that there is an icon in the upper left hand corner of the patient's appointment. If this patient is unconfirmed the icon will remain a "?" If the patient confirms through text, Weave changes the icon to a check mark. However, if the patient cancels the icon does not change from a "?" AND the appointment remains on the schedule. So, from our end (on eaglesoft) it looks like the patient has not responded to the appointment reminder texts. Additionally, if we do not manually remove the appointment from eaglesoft after the patient has canceled through text, the patients continue to receive communication from Weave about the appointment. We need for weave to remove the appointment from Eaglesoft when the patient cancels, and create a report of canceled appointments for us so that we can ensure we are following up with these patients to reschedule.
