Custom Contacts
Add a phonebook option- considering most practices make phone calls daily to places, not just patients. It would be nice to have a phone book option for numbers dialed on a daily basis- examples dental lab, referring offices, repair people ect.
Adding a contact directly into Weave without a management system sync is releasing in the next Weave update.

Can we enter a contact in weave that is not in our practice management software? We would also like to be able to add a name to any contact # we have and the ability to add non patients to our quick fill list.

If we could add contacts directly on the app instead of having to upload a file. That would be AMAZING!

We utilize the texting feature to communicate with our lab, sales reps, etc., but many of those are not patients. Maybe Weave add an option to add a business contact so that we can still search conversations & make calls without having to add these people in as a patient or try to remember who's phone number belongs to who. :)

Please add a "non-patient directory" to the app. This directory would be one that we edit ourselves, and it would sync with our desk phones and NOT our patient management software. That way, when other doctors' offices or vendors call, we also see who is calling. Also, it allows us to call them in the same manner we call patients, including adding to the follow-up call list.

Adding contacts should not be a long process. We should be able to input number then add patient info on same screen. For now this is the only issue I’m having with weave.

It would be extremely helpful to have the software contain a phonebook for vendors as well as patients. This will be beneficial in many ways:
1) You can dial from your desktop using the keyboard to search for a vendor, lab, or other commonly used non patient number.
2) We can see when a vendor is calling on the caller ID using our phonebook name. This allows only the department that is waiting for their call to answer and not waste the front desk's time.
3) The software could be designed to group the numbers so that different departments can quickly find a short list of most frequently used contacts. The Lab calls different people than the insurance office, for example.
4) We can send to fax numbers from the directory instead of having to type them in every single time.
5) The incoming faxes can find the name of the sender and label it correctly. This would be immensely helpful when watching for a fax from a particular sender.
6) It would then be possible to program the software to search the faxes by sender name. This would make finding that fax so much easier!

I would like to be able to add phone numbers to my weave i.e rep phone numbers.

We should be able to add contact information to a phone number. So if a business or person of whom we know the information to, calls but it comes up as "private" there should be an option to put new information in. Thank you

It would be nice to have a favorites list to call or text kinda like on the iphone. And to be able to create contacts because I call and text my labs, specialist offices, and my reps a lot and then I wouldn't have to waste time looking up the numbers or memorizing them.

Renee Trujillo, DDS They want the ability to know when a non patient number is calling. IE when their lab, supply company or patterson/eaglesoft calls it shows as unknown. They would liek a way to add these vendors into weave without adding them in as a fake paietnt into their PMS.

Is there any way to create a rolodex that is customized for each individual user to store frequently called #'s

Dentrix g6 has eDex module. This is where we enter all non-patient contact info. Weave should access this

Detnrix G6 has a new model called eDex where you can enter all contacts and set up
categories - Insurance companies, Referrals, Employees etc. Please use this module to bring up the person calling. Or at the very least use the Referral dB that currently exists in all versions of Dentrix. -

I think they already have this you just have to enter the names and then we've them selves will do it but nothing you can do yourself
