refunding patients
I need to have a way to process a card refund in my office instead of having to send an email. if a patient uses apple pay/ google pay it does not add the cardholder name. thank you
Refunds were launched Q2 of 2021.

I agree, we definitely need a way to refund or void a transaction. A patient should not have to wait days or a week to get money back that never should have occurred.

I agree with others. We really need to be able to process refunds in-house and have the refunds show up so they can be tracked. The way it is setup currently just doesn't work.

I requested a refund for a client earlier today. I was just wanting to make sure that would be on our end of day reports so everything balances out. I didn't see it on there so I am just double checking. We need a way to keep track of refunds in reporting.

please develop a way in the software where our office can do this directly whether through the App or Admin Portal. A great place for this would be under the print Receipt Section. With our current Merchant Services we are able to log on and do this directly with zero lag time.

This is a very poor way to handle refunding a credit card and I hope Weave is working diligently to get this corrected.

Refunds are not available and take too long. We requested a refund Monday and they still have not received the refund! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Your company seems to be having major growing pains between not being able to speak to anyone on the phone anymore without having extremely long hold times (greater than 1 hour) and not providing the service we expect is not what we are paying for!

I have never had to do this with my prior merchant account and this could be a huge inconvenience to the way we do business. Is your team building a way for us to refund on our own?

Refunds do not make sense. Will it be in the admin portal? I read that it will take five days but wanted to know how we would know the patient received it?

We need a faster turn around time on patient refunds. We are often dealing with large sums of money and 5-10 days for the patient to get their refund is too long. Patients are getting upset having to wait so long for refunds.

1. How do we refund without contacting you? Parents want some sort of confirmation or reference # stating they are getting a refund. This is not ideal.
2. Why are payments being processed even though we are receiving an error message. This has happened 3 times already. NO good. I was processing in office payment and received an ERROR message. We tried processing payment again & shortly after mom came in informing it has been withdrawn twice from her account.
