Texting Multiple Numbers
When texting clients, we need to be able to chose or message multiple numbers from their account to reach all members of the family.
This is now available! Go to Portal > Messages > Auto-Messaging and then edit a given auto-message and look for the "What is the scope of this message" section.

I feel like this is live now and just saw the pop up but the problem with implementation seems to be that it is attempting to text home and work numbers as well creating an absurd amount of failures because those devices can not receive texts.

Are you able to provide an update as to when this feature will be available? We desperately need the ability to send appt reminders to more than 1 phone number.

A lot of patients will be parents of children that are also seen in office or care givers for older parents. When text reminders go out, they don't always go out for the correct person often confusing these patients and staff trying to cancel appts.

Matt - is the "new" feature (as of Aug '23) to text multiple numbers manually (as a menu once you select the patient) considered "complete" because I think what we, and several offices below, we asking for was the ability for the automated text messages to go to multiple numbers.

We have noticed on a few different online platforms that you have quite a few offices requesting this and are not happy that you aren’t able to pull more than one mobile number.
Two valid reasons we thought of are the following:
1) We have lots of split families and know that we will have very angry patients if only one billing party gets the appointment reminders - what if the kid is with the other parent that weekend and they don't talk???2) We have lots of patients that are able to drive themselves to appointments. So we'd like all of the mobile numbers on file to get the notice so that ANYONE can drive.
This is obviously not something new to Weave that many of their customers are unhappy with this.
Please confirm this will be rectified ASAP as we are leaning towards not making the switch due to this as our current reminder system DOES pull all of these and with the amount of patients in our office, we don’t have the capacity to take the angry calls of only one person per family getting these alerts.

I think it's silly to have home numbers come up in weave when you can't test a message to a home number.

If it can’t be added we will have to look into other VOIP and texting providers. This has been an inconvenience for our office and our patients.

As a veterinary office, we have the same issues many others are mentioning. We have multiple people linked to one account. Being unable to select which number to contact is really frustrating. After a recent update, we can no longer manually enter a number to send a text message if it is listed as a secondary number on an account. It's very frustrating that we can't even just manually type a number to text.

For a lot of our patients we have multiple people that need to receive the auto reminders but unfortunately the only number that is receiving the appt reminders is the person who was marked "financially responsible." We need multiple people that are linked to one patient to receive the auto reminder texts. This is helpful in situations where there are divorced parents and both parents are listed on a chart. They would both need to receive that auto text reminder.

As an orthodontic office we have many patients that live at separate homes and both parents need text reminders.

We have patients with multiple responsible parties. Due to divorce and patient living at two separate homes, grandparents/nannies bringing patients to appointments etc, we need to be able to send text reminders for upcoming appointments to multiple responsible parties not just one. Please allow us to designate who to send these reminders to or even defalt to all phone numbers receiving the text reminders.

As a Veterinary Clinic using AVImark software, there is a place for 4 different phone numbers, under the same pet and we need to be able to select which phone number we text. As it is right now it will only allow us to text the number in the "cell" spot which is not helpful. It also reads the "spouse cell" spot into "other cell" which doesn't help anything when we can't text this other cell anyway. Additionally, the primary cell number is reading as a home phone even if it is a cell phone.

Going to add our vote as well - I suspect any office who deals with kids (minors) especially is really missing this feature. It's forcing the staff to label each chart that requests both parents be notified and send a second reminder manually. Very labor intensive and hopefully on the priority list to get fixed...given the original comment was 2021 not so sure...

Since switching to weave our no show rate has skyrocketed. Some of it was due to some setup issues but we are now beyond on that hurdle. The primary reason is the inability to remind parents and child about appointments. Our management software could handle the task of sending text to multiple numbers there is no reason that Weave can’t do this. If weave does not add this soon we will have to drop Weave. One of the advantages to Weave is suppose to be decreased no show rate, not an increase.

We currently can only send one phone number the auto reminders. Some parents have requested we send to both. Current software does not allow.

PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE!! We are a peds office and we need all the reminders for caregivers, sitters, parents etc we can get
