Auto reply confirmation response
I would love it if there were an "auto reply" function so that when patients actually confirm appts via text that they are told they confirmation has gone through. We have several patients that call after confirming because they worry that their confirmation wasn't received.
This is now live for all customers! Just go to Portal > Messages > Auto-Messaging and click the blue New Auto-Message button in the upper right.

Automatic reply to patients once they confirm the appointment. The patient receives confirmation that their confirmation was received and the appointment is confirmed.

Add a feature that acknowledges the receipt of a comfirmation from a patient. Maybe a message saying. "Thank you your confirmation has been received." So patients do not have to wonder if their confirmation has been received by our office.

Every doctor I use has this feature, including my vet! We have so many patients that contact our Call Center wanting to know if the confirmation was received. This would reduce the influx of calls interrupting our staff while they are scheduling appointments for other patients.

How is this still not a feature? I feel like this would be so easy to implement and would vastly improve customer communication. We get so many calls or multiple texts of "Yes," "YES," "yes"... because people don't know if their appointment has been confirmed.

Would love the appointment reminders that get affirmative responses to immediately send them a thank you for confirming message so our staff doesn't have to still do work for appointments that were automatically confirmed.

Automated response to YES replies on confirmation texts. It would be great if a second automated text went out saying "thank you for confirming your appointment."

We get lots of calls after people confirm because they are unsure their confirmation has been received. A text back saying "Thank you for confirming, see you soon!" would be great.

I would like an automatic text message sent after a patient confirms that's tied to the original auto reminder.
Example: 2 Days before confirmation for existing pt "Hello patient, please reply yes to confirm your appt with *insert details*"
Pt Reply's "Yes"
Auto Response: Thank you for confirming. Please remember to fill out the online paperwork that was emailed to you and to bring your insurance cards"
& then have the option to send a similar but different response to establised patients who are confrming their appt. -

In the past to reschedule patients' appointment, we used the click and drag available by Softdent software. We noticed that Weave was still confirming the old appointment that was rescheduled. I called about this and was informed we need to cancel the appointment, place it is tickler and when making the new appointment, we can pull it from tickler or to just cancel it, delete it and make a whole new appointment. I am sure you can understand how hard it is to get staff to change this process that has been done for years! I would like to think there is something Weave can do to update their confirmation system in a timelier manner and or to drop that old appointment. It has caused major confusion to our patients.

Please remember to bring your ID and insurance cards or whatever else"Why this would be helpful for our office is that if the pt is new, I can add in some stuff pertaining to them being a new patient vs an existing one. If its a specific type of follow up like contact lenses, the auto follow up could contain a reminder to wear the contacts to the office. I can also get doctor specific for various reasons.
My PCPs office has something like this.

We at SmileMakers would love to see an automatic response text to confirmation text. This assures the patient their confirmation was received and shows how important doing so is. We hope to see this feature soon as a WEAVE service.

Many other text services offer an automatic response to a confirmation text. This is very reassuring. You respond to your confirmation text and then get an automatic... "Thank you for confirming your appointment!" This would be a great addition to WEAVE services.
