add appointment scheduling online
this one is really needed. please add appointment scheduling online by showing doctor availability while syncing with EMR system.
allow patients to choose appointment type from admin defined list, a doctor of choice and display appointment availability, then let patients choose and request the time slot. appointment should still be confirmed by a staff member.

Automated Texts/Emails to Patients that No-Show
In a busy (or short-staffed) practice, it is difficult to stay on top of patients that no-show their appointments and it would be nice to have a way to set up an automated text/email to any patients that no-show requesting that they contact the office to reschedule. This seems fairly straight-forward to set up within the auto-reminders feature. Thank you! - Dr. Bates

same day notifications if appt is cancelled
We have noticed that if a patient cancels an appointment on the same day that they still receive text notifications as if they are still scheduled. This is very confusing for the patient.
7 votesThe recently-released new automated messaging system should be handling this scenario better now - as long as the appointment is canceled in the PMS and the information syncs over to Weave 15 minutes before the message is sent, we should catch these more consistently now. If you see anything to the contrary, please share the example with our Support team so they can troubleshoot.

Pt Schedule requests customization
Regarding online patient requests: It would be great to be able to customize the information that is asked of the patient at the time they are requesting an appointment. Currently they are only asked to enter name and phone number. In our officemate system we cannot create a new pt profile with only that information. We must have at least date of birth in addition to the rest. So what happens is we have a request but we cannot create a profile until we call them for date of birth so therefore we cannot put them in an appointment spot.…

while the insurance verification is great it would be nice if it could recognize patients who do not have insurance instead of tagging them with "investigate"

View Scheduled Appointments by Patient Name (VET OFFICES)
As a veterinary office, our patients are not the human clients, but their pets. I would like our schedule to show patient names on appointments rather than the human clients for ease of reading and knowing who is coming in.
If we have 1 client bringing multiple pets, it just shows the client name multiple times on the schedule, which is not helpful for planning our day and staff. Please roll out an update for vet practices to show the patient info rather than the client info on our schedule.2 votes -
Rescheduled Appointments
We are Dolphin users new to Weave. We just learned that Weave cannot read when an appointment is rescheduled in Dolphin causing frustrated families/staff and confusion.
For example, a patient is scheduled for Tuesday. They call Monday to reschedule to the following month. They still receive the same day appointment reminder on Tuesday even though the appointment is no longer on the schedule.
Dolphin uses a drag and drop rescheduling feature. Once rescheduled, the old appointment is now categorized as 'Rescheduled' appointment status. Why can Weave not read this status 'rescheduled' and no longer send appointment reminders?

Appointment request live functionality
In regards to patient appointment requests we require more customization functionality for this feature to be beneficial to our office. Since it does not read or write back into our Officemate (EHR) software it causes allot of confusion with patients attempting to request appointments at times when we do not have openings or that the provider is not in office.

Crystal PM scheduler!
Hello! Would really like to be able to use Web Assist and Online Scheduler. Was told Crystal PM would be fully integrated and I would have no problems when I signed on with Weave. =( We shouldn't have to pay another company to do our scheduling when that's one of the reasons we went through Weave. Please help!!

Communication and Online Scheduling
Our office recently purchased the Web Assistant program in hopes of helping our scheduling load. Initially, we were told that our practice management software, Officemate, would be fully integrated with Weave. However, we were not told until after we signed up with Web Assistant that Officemate could not integrate with the online scheduling system. This miscommunication created a big scheduling hurdle for our office. A great feature to include for offices that cannot integrate their PMS would be to allow customization of schedule availability for different practitioners. *Provider Name* as an automated field in reminders
Please add an "Auto fill" template to the auto reminders that fills in the provider name.
We would like our reminders to read:
"Hello Client name, As a reminder your appointment with Provider name is on ....."the only way to achieve this right now is to make a unique reminder profile for each provider, at each of the reminder intervals we use (4 per provider currently).

New Filter in Schedule
The new update is frustrating! Especially when filtering providers in the schedule!!!! The filter gets undone when using the schedule to contact patients. It used to work just fine!

Instant notification as soon as patient's appointment is booked
Hi, we called customer support to ask if we could get an instant email notification sent to our patients as soon as we book their appointments, but the representative told me that this feature is not available at the moment and I should reach out to you guys and see if it could be added, please let us know if that is something you guys are working on or if it is soon to be added because it is important for our patients to get that instant reminder, especially we had it setup with our previous company. set advance days for insurance verification
The insurance verification feature is awesome! However, it would be helpful to be able to set the advance days. We would prefer to automatically verify insurance 3 days in advance. That gives us time to contact the patient to get updated information before their appointment.
