Improve Kiosk Mode
For OpenDental offices, it would be helpful to be able to (optionally) provide the OpenDental Patient Number as the key for Existing Patients, rather than First & Last Name, DOB and Mobile phone number. As an aside comment for consideration - not every patient has a mobile number (most do, so it not that big of an issue).

This is great when we have the time to set this up for the patient but a lot of times we are just pulling up the tablet for them to sign a form quickly, this adds a lot more steps and takes extra time. I would like to see when we scan the self check in code the option of typing in the patient ID instead of the First and Last name DOB and Mobile number.

Allow the dental employees the ability to pull up the patient with ID number. We use Eaglesoft. This eliminates the need to enter 4 separate line items to access a specific form.

KJ, thanks for letting us try it. Definitely an improvement. I went through the new Protal steps on the desktop then used the camera on the iPad to bring it up for the patient to fill in. Will this all be on the iPad so that we can eliminate the need for starting on the desktop?

Patient ID is good, but maybe also not require every field to be filled in. A good workflow for us, is for the assistant to pull up the consent form and then have the patient review and sign. So for them to know the patients' name, birthday, phone number etc, is a lot. Maybe have an option where we can put in as much as they know and select the patient from there. For example, first and last name, and then if there are duplicates, the assistant can select the correct patient. Or search by ID#.

Consent forms on the ipad - we are not being able to pull up the existing patient due to the fact that our system has many duplicate patients with one of the charts being INACTIVE. The problem lies in that the inactive patient chart still has the exact same data that is in the active chart for Name, DOB, & phone number. I have talked to eaglesoft and they cannot mass delete inactive charts phone numbers. The only solution I can think of is if Weave added the Eaglesoft Patient ID field that Mconsent had. We never had this problem with Mconsent, so I am assuming the ID field solved this issue. Please add this patient ID field to the required information page when searching for an existing patient. OR find a way to exclude inactive patients like you do on the phone software. This would solve this issue immediately for our office.

Select multiple consents at one time for one patient. Instead of doing one form at a time and entering all the patients information every time.

When beginning a form and putting patients information. It will be more time efficient to just put patients chart ID and not put patients full name, date of birth and phone number.

Be able to select multiple single documents in kiosk mode for the patient to complete that are not made into packets. When multiple documents need to be completed, Finding the patient, choosing one document, then having to do this again is very time consuming. Especially when the patient is standing at the font desk. We should be able to search for the patient once, then select multiple documents for them to complete in one selection

Make finding the patient faster in kiosk mode. Entering name, birthday and phone number for each document is time consuming. Search by patient ID should be available.

The New Form Platform on Weave is not functioning. Not only you guys launched in the middle of the day without notifying your customers, it is not even working properly. This caused a major inconvenience in our office and we looked completely incapable in front of our patients. The purpose to using the forms dashboard is to go completely digital and with this launch, we ended up printing out tons of forms because the Kiosk wasn't verifying the patient information even when everything was typed EXACTLY as is. We have 73 patients tomorrow and we are now staying after hours creating packets for each. Another we do not like about this, is that patients have to scroll through ALL the forms we have created on weave and make their selections. It looks crazy. We would like to be able to copy and paste the links as we are able to through the Public Submission options. Also, you should have a button next to the submitted forms with option to archive.
