When we first started using the Weave system, we had our then current patient list with names, DOB, and phone numbers put into a csv file and then uploaded into the system. Since then, when we have new patients, we have been entering them manually. I noticed that with the patients entered manually we can update/edit info like phone numbers and email addresses but we can't with the "original" patients. It would be nice to be able to edit/update these patient profiles as well. Our original csv file did not include email addresses but now we would like to add this functionality. Our patient population changes phone numbers and emails frequently and it is cumbersome to have to create a new csv file everytime we want to update something. It would be nice to be able to edit on the fly. As it stands now, a new (duplicate) patient has to be made and then there is no way to delete the old data without having to go into the csv file and deleting them and then uploading the entire file again. Am I missing something or is there a simpler work around?

It would be a great feature if edits could be made to patient information. I have been trying to change a patient's phone number (they moved) but was told by tech support that I would have to change the info in the original csv file then upload a new file. This seems very indirect. I noticed new patients can be entered by just clicking on the "+" icon so why can't existing patients be edited? As it is, it would be easier to make a new patient and put in the correct info, but then I would have 2 different profiles. Apparently patients cannot be deleted usless making changes in the csv as well, so I will be stuck with 2 profiles.
