Missed text auto reply
We would really love an option for "auto reply to text messages" Example: Closed for holiday weekend. If a patient texts us, it would be nice if an automatic reply could be set that informs patient we got msg, but are closed until (date) and we will respond when we get back into the office.
This is now available to all locations! (Unless you're on the Essentials bundle - sorry!) Just go to Portal > Messages > Auto-Messaging and configure a new auto-message! The section labeled Missed Text will be grayed out until you create a Missed Text message.

You guys just made an update that we can put a number in to send a text when a patient leaves a voicemail. This will help when on the weekends and we are not on the app that we will be notified if someone has an emergency, we are excited about this! We were wondering if you could do the same thing with an after hours text message? example: pt txts our office they have an emergency. when they send that it sends a txt to our doctors phone that we have a message to read. Rather than her having to check the app all the time and possibly miss something. thank you!

Broadway Optical, s00016050, is short staffed and it would be awesome to have the auto-response text message also send after 10-15 minutes. Letting the person know that the office is short staffed, but they will reply as soon as possible or something like that.

Office would like the ability to have an editable template that automatically goes out to people who text in, as well as the ability to turn the auto-reply sms on/off.

Prioritizing this asap would be ideal. Medical legal liability is a very serious concern.

It is a liability having patients text after hours without a proper response to inform them they have reached us outside of business hours and when we ill return "if this is a medical emergency hang up and dial 911" We can tell them what the business hours are and request they utilize the answering service after hours but we cannot make them listen. This is not our first time making this request.

Weave needs an after hours auto text to make patients aware that the office is closed and that if it's an emergency they should call the office directly.

It would be very resourceful to add and automated after hours text message option.
If patient call after office hours, a text message should automatically go out telling them to either call back during office hours or if it is an emergency to call 911 or the office and wait for the answering service.

There needs to be an after hour message available that service is not monitored for emergencies. Please consider adding this feature.

There needs to be some sort of after hours auto text response to send to patients so they can be notified that the office is closed and if it is an emergency they should call the office directly to re redirected to the answering service.

We'd like to be able to set up automated texts that clients receive if they text us after hours. We've had issues with clients texting us after hours with emergencies & we'd like the automated text to let them know that we are closed & if they have an emergency to go to the closest emergency clinic.

when we have the phones on lunch, if someone calls, they get the auto text from weave but it says we are "after hours" not that we are on lunch. We need to be able to reassure people that we are in fact here just at lunch.

Good Afternoon nice Weave team, I had sent a suggestion for an enhancement few weeks or so ago. The same issue has come up again and our doctor is getting "frustrated" that we haven't come up with a solution. We have had patients parents, text the office after hours, and maybe on a Friday, when we work limited hours. They text the office, and get no response and get very upset - thinking we are ignoring them. If they would call the office, they would get the closed message, but we have "trained" our patients and their families to text the office, usually easier to get a hold of us, when the office is busy. Dr. Haverkos, is an Orthodontist down the street, our main competitor, and he has a different text system, and that system will send out an automated text, if someone text's the office after hours. Dr. Martinez wants us to have the same capability. We have been with weave for so many years, maybe even when you were a new company? If i could give Dr. Martinez some reassurance that this is a feature you might have soon, I think I can hold him off on looking elsewhere. Just wanted to put that out there, just the issue has come up so much lately, and he wants us to come up with a solution! Appreciate all of the hard work your team does. Thank you, Carolyn

Please consider adding a feature for text messages that notifies senders that the office is closed. For example: if an office is closed for a week or two and a patient sends a text message, there is currently no way to notify them that their text will be responded to when the office reopens. This is a large gap in the service you offer. Patients need to feel that they matter and that their text isn't being ignored!

Hello Nice Weave Team! We need two enhancements to the app- Our main competition down the street, has a different phone system, that also does texting, etc like weave, not sure of the name. But- we really need the following- When a patient calls the office, and doesn't allow it to ring long enough for either the voicemail or a person to pick up, " Caller Abandoned" We would like them to get the automated text message, same message people get if they leave a voicemail. We also need an auto generated text message, that if someone were to text the office after closing, they would get the automated text message also. --We just activated the two features, If someone calls and gets our voicemail, they will get a text, and we also are working on the script for the closed text, people get when they call the office during closed hours.

Morning, I just wanted to suggest a feature. We would like it if there was an auto response via text message to patients that text after hours. Something that would just say we will get back with you when we are back in the office.....etc...
