Patient level settings for auto text
a way to mark which patients should be skipped and not send them an auto text.
Text preferences can now be updated in Weave, by patient/contact and by message type!

Often times, Patients call in to complain of the communications they are receiving. Some patients want to receive emails only. While I understand that a patient can text stop, many would prefer us to do it for them. I should be able to search the patient and have a settings option and opt the patient out of certain notifications.

We need to be able to filter those under the age of 18 out of text communications. Is this already being done on the back end or is there something I am missing in terms of data segmentation/ filter creation on the front end.

People don't realize all of the capabilities they are unsubscribing from when they type "STOP".
Either improve the opt out language or add the ability to modify opt out language and response once opted out.
Appended to bottom of messages:
“Reply STOP to end all communications with {PRACTICE NAME}.”
Auto response from out out:
“You have unsubscribed and will no longer receive messages from {PRACTICE NAME}, unless you opt back in. Please note that we will not be able to send you any important reminders / updates or answer any of your questions via text message. You can reply START at any time to opt back in.”

A way to turn off automated messages for each individual patient. This is not an option within Weave and is very disappointing. We will not be able to have some of the automated messages turned on due to this.

W ehave patients cancel the morning of, especially with so much illness going around. They get very frustated to get a reminder text later in the day. I understand that texts are cued the night before but please at least give us the option to manually delete the text reminder

We should be able to turn off automated texts for certain patients. Moving the mobile number into the home area slot is not ideal due to many of our patients still using landlines along with cellphones, and it prevents us from being able to text that patient for something in specific unless we manually enter every phone number.

Please explore the option to consider turning off text confirmations per campaign, IE 1 week out reminders being able to turn off text reminders there

WE would like a way to individualize texts to pts. We have many pts who feel there are too many texts but some whom we feel need multiple texts

Would really, really like to see the ability to customize reminders by patient preference. Right now we have it set up for 2 weeks, 24 hours and 2 hours. Most patients like that but we do have a few that complain. I have to keep telling them at this point it is either all or none. Is this something that is in the works? Or a possibility in the future?

It would be nice if Weave could recognize if a patient has an appointment scheduled, and a recall set for the same time - that it does not send out a recall reminder. The patient is already scheduled. But we do not want to remove the recall due to keeping track of our patients and when their coming in.

It would be nice to give the patient's an option to "snooze" recall reminders. If we send one out saying they are coming due, we could give them the option to have them auto-generate a reminder to be sent out again in a given time period if they aren't currently ready to schedule.

WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO "CHANGE" TEXT AND EMAIL PREFERENCES INDIVIDUALLY per PT. i.e. IF A PT WANTS ONE TEXT TO CONFIRM APPT. AND NO MORE. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO PUT THAT PREFERENCE IN FOR THAT SINGLE PT.

It would be great if we could customize texts per patient. I have a handful of patients who only want the confirmation text and nothing beyond that. But a good portion appreciate the same day reminder in addition to the confirmation texts.

We have some patients, particularly elderly patients, that wish to no longer receive texts. It would be much easier and more organized in our practice management software if we could turn off text and/or email notifications for particular patients within Weave's software instead of removing the cell number from the allotted spot in our software.

I like this idea- I'd be even better if you could pull the status of whether or not patients have opted to receive text messages from the EHR system like you do with other sync data

It would be helpful to have individual patient setting for reminders- we have some that only want one reminder and we can't customize it for them, and if a patient doesn't want any reminders we have to put all "0"s in their mobile number so we are unable to text them for anything.
