Allow staff members the ability to update CSV files (i.e. no admin role needed)
Weave does not integrate with my EHR so we have to upload CSV file monthly in order to properly communicate with patients. This is a task for my staff but I don't want to make them admins in order to do this. Can this option be downgraded to staff members.
We've heard this request multiple time before and would like to enable this functionality for staff members. This has been added to our opportunity backlog.

Has this happened yet? I can see Drew Hemsley's comment from February that it would be updated in the next couple of weeks, however, we are still running into this problem. Thank you.

I am confused as to why Weave has opted to change the user role required to upload a .csv file, which we do daily to keep our patient list updated in the Weave application. That is a task we have delegated to a support staff, and now I have to give that employee complete control of the Weave app - adding users, deleting users, multiple functions he does not need access to - in order for him to upload a file containing patient information that every employee in our organization has access to. In my opinion this makes Weave less secure, not more secure - the only people that should have admin access in our organization are the owners.
This change apparently went into effect this week, and I'd like you to reverse it as soon as you can.

Hey, Sara!
Thanks for reaching out and expressing your concerns. I do appreciate the transparency. We're always trying to make using Weave not only a good experience, but one that protects the security of you, your office and staff, and most of all, your patients. There are going to be updates made to the CSV page that explain the need for these new permissions. We have already planned these updates and they should be live within the next week or so.
That being said, I am a fan of your suggestion to include advanced team members in this action to upload a CSV. I will relay this feedback to my team and reach back out to you with an update should you want one!

Two weeks ago, we were having issues with 2 of our employees not being able to upload the .csv file. HOURS on chat and remote troubleshooting after a generic error message got us nowhere. We were told that since I (the Practice Manager) could upload it that we should just deal with it and I should do it every time. Today, I see that changes have been made and that the .csv files are unable to be uploaded by an employee without admin rights. Who the heck thought this was a good idea??? As the Practice Manager, I have employees that are capable of uploading a stupid excel file every day so that we can properly use Weave and the payment system we just upgraded to. But now I have to be the one to upload it every day OR give them full admin rights to the system? What in the actual heck. How about adding this in as one of the rights under the Advanced Team Member? Or making a new category all together. But to say it's all or nothing is ridiculous.
