Have the same problem, we use Dentrix desktop. Weave does show the appointment types we configured through Weave, it shows individual providers and an option for "No preference", which is great.
Once a provider or "No preference" is selected, the online booking shows all times of that day as available except times blocked out in Weave when the office is not open, a provider is not in the office, or blocked out for lunch.
For this functionality to be useable, Weave needs to examine the provider (or operatory) schedule from the PMS and then show only those times when the provider/operatory is not booked in the PMS. The solution should allow offices that book by operatory to only show appointments where that operatory is available for appointments.
When I opened a support case for this, I was told that "Weave pulls in the operatories and providers and the booking system cannot differentiate between providers and operatories and is unable currently to identify just a provider or just an operatory as being available"
