Text Auto-reminder to take medication prior to appointment. (aka pre-med)
We would like the ability to create a pre-appointment reminder to take their pre-appointment medication. We would especially like it to say what types of meds the patient needs to take.
This would be different from advanced filters because it'd be triggered by the option "needs pre-med" in the PMS. including the potential for a variable of "medication" so they can list out something like "please remember to take [medication] 2 hours before your appointment"
It would be great if you could find a way that your system would recognize patients that required a pre-med and then would send and auto text to them.

Sending automated reminders to patients that require pre-med. antibiotics before their appointments. Is there a way for your program to grab information from patient's health history that require antibiotics due to having joint replacement surgery or heart valve replacement? There are some programs that can do this, so hoping it was possible for yours. Thank-you

For patients that need pre-medication with an antibiotic before dental treatment, have the option to assign a specific reminder for their 3 day reminder so they make sure they remember the medication.

Would love to be able to send AUTO reminder for patients to take premed for dental appts. Patients are already marked in dental software. This is not new technology, other communication systems have this capability.

Hello. Love Weave, but the manual visa entry update is not as efficient as it was previously. Having to enter an address really slows down phone transactions. Even with having to enter the address, previous format was faster. Also, we have used software in the past that would recognize when a patient needed antibiotic pre-medication and would remind them to take it in the confirmation text. We had this feature with Flex and I wish we had know it wasn't available thru weave before we switched. This is a very important feature for dental practices. Very disappointed that it's been added to the backlog.

Pre-medicate Auto Reminder
Dental Practice; some patients will need reminders to take their pre-med before their appointment. There needs to be an auto-reminder and filter option, or an automatic option. We had flex before weave and this was an automatic feature. I wish we had know that this was not possible before we switched.

Currently there is no way, other than doing it manually for Weave to send premedication reminders to patients with upcoming appointments. If Weave was able to recognize the "P" user code in SoftDent this would be possible. I have done a lot of research on other forums and this is a chief complaint with Weave.

It would be nice to have an auto message added to appointment reminder text to remind specific patients who need to take premed, bring appliance to appointments, etc.

Yes. With our prior service (Solution Reach) we could create lists of patients that were pre-med, nightguard, etc and an automatic addition would be added to their appointment reminder.

Pre Medication Patients on Softdent PMS. Weave filters patients by the patient code we have entered, say if a patient is inactive, we have added an I to the patient user code and those patients do not appear in Weave. We have entered a P in that patient code area to show that the patient needs a pre-med. So if Weave can read the I, why can't it read the P? I realize it is not as simple as I am stating it here, but the premise is the same, so I would think it could be done. Then we could set up an integrated text reminder to go to those patients and remind of appointment and pre-med.

Softdent users: Suggestion #1: Add Premed Appointment Reminder onto appointment reminders with patients which have user code "P" attached to their Patient screen.
Suggestion #2: Allow user code "N" (No recall) in addition to use code "I" / Inactive. to prompt Weave to not send text reminders. There are many reasons why a dentist may not want to Inactivate a patient.

Is there any way to remind a patient of the need to take premed before their dental appointment? Our old system did that, and patients are asking for the reminder.
