Texting Multiple Numbers
When texting clients, we need to be able to chose or message multiple numbers from their account to reach all members of the family.
This is now available! Go to Portal > Messages > Auto-Messaging and then edit a given auto-message and look for the "What is the scope of this message" section.

Is there any advancement on this subject, Dentrix has 4 number fields Home Work Fax Mobile Other if pediatric patient has 2 parents (or multi complex family blend) we need the ability to communicate with ALL or options to manually text who is bringing the patient, why cant WEAVE give access so that we have flexibility to the number fields that exist. Nor can we send reminders to both parents - it is not always mom in this crazy world we work in and it's baffling that in this day and age why multiple contact options are not available, Lighthouse, Sesame & SR have these options. We have no patient communication freedom here.

MULTIPLE PHONE NUMBERS - we have several patients where parents are divorced and share custody. Both want appointment reminders texted to them. However, we can only put one number in Weave's patient information. ALSO, there are many times where mom and dad both have financial responsibility with separate accounts. We need to be able to text one of them regarding financial information that the other is not privy to. So being able to send an invoice to Dad and not Mom needs to be an option.

Sacksteder Orthodontics would love it if we could text multiple numbers with automated messages. When both parents of a patient want to receive automated texts, we cannot accomodate them unless we manually text the second parent.

It is not ideal to have appointment reminders go to the Head of Household. We have many husband/wife couples who are on the same account (and want to be for billing purposes) but, only one spouse receives reminders. We have gotten many complaints about this. Adult family members want to receive their own notifications.

The option to add multiple cell phone numbers to a patient's account would be amazing for us pediatric offices. As it stands, auto reminders are only going out to whatever cell number we have in the mobile field in Dentrix. We often need to remind both parents and/or a nanny of upcoming appointments.

I would like to ability to text 2 separate phone numbers. We have several divorced couples in the office that both want to be alerted of appointment times.

I would like to be able to add a second mobile/cell number for text reminders. We are a pediatric practice and some families (especially when the parents are divorced) would like text reminders to go to both parents.

Separate the text messages when multiple family members have the same phone number. Example: if John Smith gets a text reminder about picking up glasses and his minor son Joe Smith has the same number, the message to John shows up in Joe's message history. This gets confusing especially if there are multiple orders for glasses etc.

Our office of 60+ employees sincerely require the ability to send an individual automated appt reminder to more than 1 phone number. For instance, both Mom and Dad need to get the reminder for Child's appointment. Right now, we can only send to EITHER Mom or Dad, not both. That is the biggest hiccup we've experience while switching to Weave. If this could be corrected, we would move to Weave's phone systems as well. Thank you

Reminders - We should be able to send reminders to several members for some of our patients.
When you switch from one program that pulls information a different way ( the billing tab) and your weave system pull for a different tab we ( the office) should be told that, not discover it on your own. That would have been a factor in switching systems.

It would be helpful if Weave would recognize two mobile numbers on an account. For example, I work at a vet clinic so our patients are cats or dogs - most accounts have two mobile numbers, one for the pet-dad and one for the pet-mom. If pet-mom drops off (and her number is the primary number), but wants us to contact pet-dad (secondary number) when we are done with the appointment, Weave only recognizes the primary number on the account and we are unable to text the secondary number from our desktop. The solution right now would be to create two accounts per patient so both accounts get pulled to Weave, but it would be easier if Weave would just recognize that there are two mobile numbers on one account and we could just choose which number to text for that patient. Or if we could just type any number in a "new message" and send a text without having to set up an account for that number.

Dear Weave, just completed text communication with the support team. This is Veterinary Clinic and we have many clients' accounts with multiple owners (usually mom and dad) on ONE or multiple pet patients. Confusion comes along when we communicate with two owners for same pet patient obviously two owners will have two different phone numbers. Because text message thread will show the primary account holder name only, we sometimes do not know which owner we did talk to. In summary, multiple owners with different phone numbers on ONE pet creates confusion on text message thread cause message threads only shows primary account holder. So we do no now which owner did we talk to by looking at the owners name on the thread.
Suggestion: 1. Showing phone number near/under the name in the message thread, or 2. group chatting - this will fix the problem permanently.
Thanks,
Nick -

Having an issue with auto confirming patients that have multiple appts on the same day (back to back). It's confirming only the later appointment or both appointments instead of just one for the start time. It's very confusing for patients when they receive multiple different texts. Example would be Melissa Sweigart for May 3rd and May 10th. It confirmed her for the latest appt only and not for the one before it. I chatted in and the agent told me to fill this out. Thank you.

Separate texting threads for each family member. That way it doesnt show my response to Mom but at the top of message show i'm texting a 5yo daughter... Thanks!

We had a mom come in with her child for their 6 month recare. The text reminder said that they both had appts today @ 9. But the mom had an appt at 9 and the child had an appt at 330p. Mom was upset b/c she kept the child out of school for his 9am appt (B/C THAT IS WHAT THE TEXT MESSAGE REMINDER TOLD HER). Weave NEEDS to change it to where the times for multiple appts in 1 day are written for that specific time.

I would like to see the ability for Weave to text every mobile number listed in the patient chart when the patient has an appointment. An example of when this would be helpful, is in the case of the child patient who has divorced parents and both parents would like reminders.

It is super frustrating that you can not text multiple numbers per patient. Example: If Joey has an appt on Monday at 9am, it would be nice to be able to text Mom and Dad who are divorced. Since switching from Solution Reach to Weave, we have had to do way more manual texts then before due to this issue.

Is there a way to allow weave to send automatic text messages to more than one number per family. For example, when mom and dad have different mobile phone numbers

We have a LOT of patients with divorced parents that split time with their kids.... our patients. BOTH parents want to be getting the auto reminder text messages. Currently you only allow for it to send to ONE cell numberin the patients chart. Can you PLEASE update it to send out the auto reminders to ALL mobile numbers in the chart? Thank you! ;)

Allow you to choose which number you would like to send a text message - for example: divorced father financally responsible # chosen vs mom's number. Better than typing # in message system as it doesn't save under patient name.
