Bulk Texts
It would be AMAZING to be able to send out bulk texts. If we need to cancel a day due to inclement weather or the doctor not being in it would be so great to create a generic message that could be sent to patients that are scheduled on that day letting them know we are closed or we need to reschedule.

The ability to group text a list of patients/clients to let them know about a closure (weather, etc) can be done from the mobile app using “Schedule Messaging”. This video will walk you through how to do that:

We had a late start today due to snow and road conditions. Had to text each patient that had an 8 or 9am appt to inform them that we were starting at 10 and they needed to call us at 10 to reschedule. Then, had to put a Voicemail override on to let callers know that we were closed until 10. Then realized our auto-reminders were still sending the day-of appt reminders out. Patients then thought we were open when auto-reminded of their appt at 8 or 9. Sure would be nice if we had all of these things lumped together with one button or switch on the app. Now that we know all the steps involved, it will only get easier for us though. We are still learning the Weave system.
