Customize the text for Weave Forms message
I would like to be able to customize the text message that is being sent with the Weave Forms. Currently I copy and paste what I would like it to say each time, as you can imagine this is a but redundant.
Hi Everyone,
I'm excited to announce that in our New Weave experience, we’ve added Message Templates to the Form Sending Experience! This feature lets you streamline your form-sending process by using customizable message templates, now available across all touchpoints, including the Patient Profile, My Forms Section, and Messages Inbox.
Check out the Forms new Weave experience here.
How to Use the Forms Message Templates:
My Forms Section:
Navigate to My Forms > Select Form > Send > Select Recipient > Share in Message. You’ll see the option to Select a Template and you can also Create a New One.
Patient Profile:
Go to Patient Profile > Select a Patient > Tap on Forms Icon. The sending experience starts like the one above, and you’ll see the option to Select a Template or create a new one when you choose Share in Message.
Messages Inbox:
Navigate to Messages Inbox > Tap on Forms Icon. The sending experience starts like the one above, and you’ll see the option 'Insert and Select Message Template' where you can select existing template or create new one.
Additionally, you can create and manage all the templates using the New Weave Experience Template Management here. Just select the template type as Form while creating the message template.
I've attached a quick demo recording for your reference.
If you’d like more information, please email me at mayur.pathak@getweave.com. I'd be happy to help!
Thank you for your patience and support. Please feel free to share any additional feedback you have related to Forms, our Forms New Weave Experience, or this particular feature!
Best regards,
Mayur Pathak

Be able to change the message that is automatically populated so that it is personalized to your office and what your office would like for it to say.

Many people see the first line of the default message that goes out with our FORMs and they think it is another reminder and disregard it. Having it so we can customize the default message is a very critical update that needs to be made please!

I just called customer service on this possible feature as well. It is a waste of time and energy to have to edit the text/email message every single time you are sending out paperwork to a patient. When patients arrive without having completed their paperwork, it puts the providers behind for the rest of the day. The purpose of Weave is to make our practices run more efficiently and make communication with patients more effective. Please prioritize this fix as it seems like I am not the only one needing/wanting this.

Agreed - texts should be personalized per form. For example - when we send record release forms for patients to go to another office, we do not want it to say the generic "looking forward to your visit" because they are moving, not coming. Thank you.

I would like to be able to add the year [year of appointment] to the text and email templates.

Yes, it's crazy that this is the only text template that cannot be edited. The only work around is to create your own text template that has wording that makes it more clear to patients that completing the form is a requirement and then copying and pasting the correct form link each time. Not efficient AT ALL!

Yes. We need to be able to tell patients that these forms are required, and to show up early if they don't have it completed ahead of time!!!!!!!!

I couldn't agree more with your feedback. As a fellow user of Weave, I too have encountered similar difficulties with the limitations on customizing auto-populated text.
The ability to tailor the auto-populated messages to suit the specific needs of each form or packet would greatly enhance the communication experience with our clients. It would allow us to provide more precise, context-specific information, ensuring clearer communication and reducing possible confusion.
I believe that this feature would not only streamline our workflow but also significantly improve the overall user experience. It's essential that our software tools adapt to our needs, rather than us having to conform to their limitations.
I join you in urging the Weave team to consider implementing this much-needed feature. It's these seemingly small improvements that could make a big difference in how effectively we can use the platform.
Thanks for bringing this up and initiating the conversation!

Hello,
I spoke with 3 customer reps regarding this feature and was told to enter it as a feature request here. There's an automated message that shows up after selecting a form under "Digital Form Templates" on the Weave desktop app. From what I was told by the representative, this field is currently not editable.
Can you please make it possible to edit this automated message after selecting a "Digital Form Template"? We would like to add some verbiage about the office, etc.
Thank you.

We are having issues with patients returning the forms (especially the new patient forms) in a timely manner. The message with the link says Please fill out this form at your earliest convenience. I would like to see that changed to within 48 hours. When you say earliest convenience that does not mean they return forms before link expires.

It would be convenient to be able to change the pre-generated text when sending the link for digital forms to patients. This way we could make it say what we want every time, instead of having to edit it before sending it. We are able to change the pre-generated texts for appointment reminders, and I just feel it would be beneficial to change the text that automates for other programs as well.

This is what Weave suggests "You can manually change the message before you send it out or you can create your own manualy template with the wording you'd like to use. You'd need to remove the text the forms template puts in the message first and replace it with th manual template though before sending the message." This is NOT helpful or convenient, editing our own templates is ideal

the SMS template should be customizable and set to be edited so it is not the standard one you all select of "please fill out these forms at your earliest convenience" for operational purposes we have found more success with form compliance when the verbiage is different with our patients versus hearing the word "forms" it becomes a dreaded task they wish not to complete. The fact that the link is unique and the verbiage in the sms text

Currently there is a pre-populated template that comes up when clicking on the clipboard icon within a message thread. Offices would love to be able to edit the template to adjust the wording as they wish, like they are able to do with other message templates within the desktop client.

Make the default message that goes with forms editable

The text message sent to patients with the link needs to be able to be edited. It would be more effective if it said "Please fill these forms out prior to your scheduled appointment to better expedite your check in experience."
