Sound Notifications
PLEASE we need sound notifications for text and especially chat! When we are busy working, in our software up front, or in with a patient, we have no idea that the pop-ups are there! This in an incredible source of frustration for us & for many other offices that we have talked to
This is now available on the Weave desktop app > Settings > Messages. There are 11 sounds available to choose from. Enjoy!

There needs to be a sound for SMS. The whole point of the texting is decreasing time, but we are slammed on the weekends and most nights, the texts get buried, yes the action tab is a great feature and having it popup on the screen but if you're on a call or talking to a co-worker or otherwise not looking at the screen, you don't know a new one came in, maybe the one you were specifically waiting for, and then 20 more go on top of that one.
It would also be helpful if there is a message that we have not acted on, in a set amount of time it sends another notification. We can be very very busy and messages get buried and the notification even set to not leave the screen until acknowledged can get cluttered up with several fast. -

Can you please add the ability to be able to add sounds to notification alerts? We are not always looking at the screen and it would be helpful to have a sound plays to let you know that something has come in. Thanks

Please do not fix this! What would be even better is to give us a feature to turn on sound notifications but then not make it work! Then top it off by giving us a feature to not ask us to confirm on exiting and don't make that work either. Then set up a feedback system where you don't fix the simple solutions that are sent to you numerous times, all while sending out numerous software updates to show us how you don't listen.

We need an alert sound when a message comes in by text. If you can have the team chat chime when a message goes through, why can't the text messages chime when they come through? It is very annoying to be working in other screens and find out that I've missed 3 text messages.

Hi! The desktop app is great but a SOUND notification for incoming messages from a patient is EXTREMELY important. Please consider making that an option. Messages are not always seen immediately because app window is small and I do not know to look once pop up goes away.

I would love an audible notification for text. We are a very busy practice and to be able to have that alert vs trying to always be watching the computer would be huge!

It would be helpful if a text message chimed when it came in. Just like on a cell phone. I actually have to have my cell phone set up to receive notifications from Weave so that it will chime. I would prefer for the program to do that for me. Thank you.

Can you guys bring back the feature where weave showed you the number from which the person was texting. Before if you clicked on a message thread, Weave briefly showed you the clients phone number before changing to their name. Now its hard because you click on their name and it defaults to their cellphone but sometimes a secondary cell or spouses number is listed under home and that is where they are texting from so there a lot of back & forth and clients get confused when we ask them what number they are texting from, as if to say shouldn't you already know that, when in fact we don't. Also if you can add a sound notification for when a text, fax, or other notification comes by, sometimes we do not always see the banners so the sound would be an additional plus.

This would be very beneficial because the pop-up notifications don't always work and sometimes stop altogether. I have to reset the desktop client every time.

Agreed! We were excited about using this until found out it didn't "work" because cant hear a notification! We went back to using Softros Messenger for inter-office messaging for this reason:(

Ideally we need text notification sound. When busy, it is difficult to look for a text.

I am away from my desk quite a bit. It would really help to have a chime or some type of sound notification that I can hear when I am away from my desk. (Which is alot). I am missing a big % of my texts messages

Hello!
I have corresponded with several representatives in the past few weeks but ever since we updated our Weave software last time, our "ding" that would occur after every message was gone. We no longer have any notification that a message has been sent unless we are directly in front of the computer which has made it really hard and made the whole point of having Weave to be useless for us since we don't know when any messages are being sent.
I was told by the other representatives that they are working on solving the issue but its been over a month and still nothing. I was told to message you all here suggesting to add this feature so it can be done sooner. Would you please fix the sound issue for the messaging/chat feature in your Weave software? At this point we are unable to know when messages are sent unless we are directly in front of the computer which makes it unhelpful. Please let us know as soon as possible any updates. Thank you!
