Reconsider 2 step verification security code on forms
We are a pediatric practice and will text links for forms (dependent children) to the mobile number attached to the patient's file in Dentrix (e.g., Mom's mobile number). Sometimes, Dad brings the child to the appointment - Mom has not completed the paperwork, so we then send the Form text to DAD'S mobile. When we do this, the Dad will then click on 'auto fill'. This then generates a request for a code - the code is then sent to the mobile phone listed on the patient's file which is MOM's mobile. Is there a way to disable this 2 step verification if Weave can see that this OTHER mobile number is associated with the family? We see this same situation for 18 yo patients as well - they are set up in our PMS with Mom's mobile phone attached to their file since Mom is handling scheduling, text-to-pay, insurance, etc. However, when the 18 yo arrives at the appointment themselves, they are able to complete the forms on their own. We will then text to their mobile, but the 2 stop verification code goes to mom. If Weave can determine that this mobile is associated within the family, it would eliminate that issue. I understand you are most likely sending this 2 step code out because we are asking for PHI to be populated in the form but it is going to a 'foreign' number. Again, if Weave can see all mobiles within the family structure in Dentrix, this issue would go away.
