  1. Appointment Reminders as Preferred Commuinication Method

    Appointment Reminders should automatically be sent as a text or email according to the patient's specified Preferred Commuinication Method. We have a way to select Preferred Communication Method in our EMR (Crystal PM) this should write to Weave. Also, if the first method fails (we send out a text reminder) the should automatically get an email reminder.

    This has been requested before and denied so maybe not possible. Please have texts only send when the "send" button is clicked and not when the enter key is hit. I know there is the shift - enter work around, but that is hard to get into muscle memory.

  4. Fax module upgrades

    1.) After clicking the '+' button to generate a new fax form, once you click "Click to Add" it would be awesome if the focus/pointer was in the text search box so you could start typing immediately without having to first click into the box

    2.) It would be amazingly helpful if we could annotate on the incoming faxes so we can prove to an auditor that we did in fact review the file. Currently we have to download the file, annotate and rescan the file before uploading to the patient's record and that defeats the purpose of electronic/paperless modalities

  5. Allow new or prospective patients to be sent forms in same way as existing patients

    Right now the only way to send an individual who is not yet registered as a patient in Weave is by doing a manual message and pasting the link for the form or packet. Doing it this way does not report that the form has been sent in the forms dashboard in order for offices to know which new patients to follow up on their forms submission for. Since the majority of the people needing to be sent forms are new patients or prospective patients, there needs to be a way to send these individuals forms the same way existing…

  6. Search patients by date of birth

    It would be nice to be able to search patients by their date of birth instead of their last name in the contacts section in the event of adding a patient manually who may have changed their last name / this would reduce the potential to accidentally create a duplicate profile, especially for people who change their name after getting married.

  12. Allow automated messages to filter by procedure type instead of appointment type with Opendental

    Open dental creates unique appointments by allowing the office to select the exact procedure codes that will be performed instead of just scheduling general appointment types. This makes it difficult to utilize advanced filters when creating automated messages because it obligates the office to specifically select appointment types that have the exact procedures included in the description of the appointment showing in Weave. The appointment description showing in the Weave schedule shows the list of procedures by abbreviation and not by actual code, but when creating the appointment type it is the actual codes that are selected.   13. Auto-Reminders Email Form Attachment

    In the auto-reminders, if we attach forms (Med HX, Covid screening, etc.) it is placed at the very very bottom of the email sent... Which makes it hard for our patients to know that they need this form done. Most patients do not scroll all the way down, but, up until they see the date and time of their appointment in the reminder. I wanted to see if it was possible to move the link/ button for the forms at the very top, whereas the date and time of appointment would be right after.

    When children are scheduled on the same day, it is only confirming one (I'm assuming this is because there isn't a family template for email reminders?), so it's creating more work for the front desk. They are hoping it can function like the SMS family reminders do.

    Vet office states that frequently owners of multiple animals will bring them all in on the same day for wellness visits and vaccines and has two pain points for the recall reminders going out to these customers.
    1. As the message is going on on the same day, only one patient is being notified of vaccines due.
    2. If multiple vaccines are due on the same visit, weave communication only pulls one vaccine…

    The office would like the timing to not be written in English, but in Spanish.

    Instead, they would like it to read: "Nuestro sistema muestra que está 10 dias de retraso para una cita."
