  1. Notification of Appointment Confirmations by Email

    The Weave confirmation system can be unreliable. Patients have told us numerous times they have confirmed via email, but it is not recording the confirmation. We know this because patients get sent a SMS that specifically emphasizes they have not confirmed yet for an upcoming appointment. We use to get emails notifying us of appointment confirmations and while that was a lot of additional email fluff, that suddenly stopped sometime around February 2023 and was replaced with no feature to check on confirmation email interactions.   2. Online Scheduling continues to be Broken / Not As Advertised for Eaglesoft

    11 Months after signing on with Weave... one of the key features we bought into Weave for is still not functioning. Staff at Weave would rather not help anybody or put any effort into making sure clients are getting the features they paid for. Without reading the appointment availability in my practice, this feature is useless. It still cannot see the openings in my schedule using my "compatible" practice management system Eaglesoft and continues to give patients the ability to request any time they want without blocking out times that are already reserved by others.

  3. NEW REMINDER SCHEDULE/SETTINGS DON'T WORK

    New update has our confirmation schedule ALL MESSED UP. Perhaps adding the ability to choose specific days for confirmations to go out instead of "3 days in advance" being able to choose, "send Thursday's confirmations on Tuesdays" would eliminate some of the MAJOR issues we've had with the new setup.

  5. Integration with Crystal PM Declined Texting Option

    Since Weave integrates with Crystal PM, it would be helpful for Weave to know NOT to send automated messages to patients when the DECLINED TEXTING box is checked in patient's Crystal profile. At this time, when I manually turn off messages under "message preferences," the system is still sending texts to patients regarding their preferences.

  6. We would love for Weave to be integrated with PtEverywhere (our practice software).

    Please work to integrate Weave to PtEverywhere (our practice software). PtEverywhere just released info that they can now be integrated with other software platforms to help improve business functions and ease between multiple software programs. Thank you!

  7. Exempting Certain Phone Lines from Recording

    Our HR department and other Senior Leaders have non-patient confidential calls that should not be recorded. We need to designate certain lines as not recorded, while leaving others as recorded. Currently, it's an all or nothing feature.

  9. missed called notification

    I called weave today to see if there was a way to get a notification for missed calls like we do in top right hand corner of screen for text messages. I was informed weave does not have that option yet. So I am suggesting if that could be made a option in the short future . Thank you

  10. Ability to make notes on payments

    We really need the option to make notes on payments, something just viewable by office staff and not the patient. Or, we need a way to be able to label payments (fee, balance, deductible payment, other - with the option to type a custom label).

  11. Provide access to client email preferences - similar to Text Communication Preferences

    We would like to be able to see/edit email communication preferences the same way we can for text communication preferences. We would prefer that the email has more options than just an all or nothing opt out.

    As an example, we have some clients that have horses stabled in a large facility where the manager handles their veterinary appointments. The owners have no need of recall or appointment reminders, but we still want them to get marketing emails. We would also need to be able to re-enable those clients should they choose to move their horses elsewhere. Thank you!

  12. Insurance Report - Request/Include Different/Additional Data

    It would be helpful to see data like, "missing tooth clause" and when crowns are paid on prep or "seat date" requested/included in the Weave Insurance Verification report.

  14. Automated texts sent to the patient who actually has an appointment if same number as another

    When two patient files in DSN have the same phone number (i.e. a daughter who once scheduled for an elderly father years ago), the automated text "randomly" picks which patient file to send the message to, even if the patient it picks doesn't have an upcoming appointment and hasn't been in for years. This is very inconvenient because the message thread shows that we texted the father, when the daughter is the one who has an appointment. Since it's the daughter's number, she responds appropriately, but the message thread shows the father's name which is confusing and causes much more…

  15. Stop requiring the schedule request to be linked to a patient

    This has never happened up until today. Please go back to the old way of not needing to be linked to a patient in order to send a message to a patient confirming their appointment request. We get a lot of new patients this way and we do not add them into our system until after they are seen in the office. I have never had to add them until today.

  16. Payment Reminders - Sending reminders for more than 1 invoice

    Since we are able to send more than one invoice to a patient, we need to be able to send reminders for all of those invoices. For example, I have patients who have a copay and a balance. They have to pay the copay, but the amount toward their balance can be whatever they are able, so we allow partial payments. I send an invoices for each separately to the patient, but when I go to send a reminder, I am only able to send a reminder for the most recent invoice. I need to be able to send the…

  17. QuickFill List Needs Backup

    The Quick Fill list cannot be retrieved if there is an internet outage or PMS/software update. It's too easy to lose and impossible to retrieve.

    Quick Fill list needs to have a backup on Weave, not just local storage so that when it's lost, it can be retrieved/rebuilt.

  18. Terminals that print receipts and take signatures.

    It is very important that offices have terminals that can print physical receipts and take signatures. They are paying for expensive transactions and would rather retain their privacy than share email addresses for a digital receipt that feels ephemeral.

  19. Transfer a call to a given extension but with the option to send it directly to the ext's voicemail without first ringing the phone

    The person's transferring the call would have the option of sending to the extension phone to be answered now or directly to the extension voicemail for a callback.

  20. MFA (multi-factor authentication) for desktop, mobile or portal login

    I suggested this feature a few years ago but it seems that it hasn't been picked up. Weave provides access to medical records and works in a highly sensitive HIPAA environment. Multi-factor authentication support is a must to prevent attacks against employees.

    Should a user account be compromised resulting in health data exfiltration, the responsibility will fall on Weave if it fails to provide minimum reasonable protection against ATO (account takeover) attacks.
