Birthday message template should not be a Weave ad
For reminder (e.g., birthdays) emails, those should be editable - at least to some degree. Currently, the "Email provided courtesy of Weave" is way too large - it's as large as the main text - and it strips away any sincerity by turning a birthday message into Weave spam. Everyone knows they are automated but we do not need to blast and confirm that.
This email serves equally as an advertisement for Weave which I feel is in poor taste. It feels like Weave is using us to get their name out there, when these are our hard-earned patients, not your advertising targets. Moreover, these are not B2B clients who might use Weave. The likelihood that anyone will click that link and sign up is very minimal if there's any chance at all, so you are degrading the quality of this service with extremely little upside.
We should, at the very least, have the option to uncheck an option to get rid of that "Email provided courtesy of Weave" line. We are not your vehicle for advertisement. I truly hate this and it's the first time I've ever really been disturbed by something in Weave's business model. The fact that I have no control over this template is very frustrating.
An intermediary step may be to immediately make that "Email provided courtesy of Weave" as small as the "If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe" line. That at least removes you as an equal party to our office as a sender.
