Restrict Access to Weave Mobile App
When setting up users for Weave, there should be a category that does not allow remote access by downloading the Weave app to a cell phone. We would prefer that not all users have access to our patient records outside of the office. There is no control and it seems it is a direct HIPPA violation. Hi, I thought HIPAA prevented employees from taking information home regarding patient inforamation, if this is the case, why can we not limit the information an employee has through the app to access patient information through the weave software. I do not feel this is safe, what if you have an employee who is not very honest and you do not know what they or others do on their devices outside of the office. we have no way of knowing who can access this information on these devices. Big big concern.
