Cornerstone Integration Problems: Recall Reminders to inactive pets, auto-text fails, status mapping for appts
Recall reminders for veterinary practices need improvement!
1) Weave is unable to recognize patients as inactive, and our clients are receiving recall reminders for pets they no longer have or even worse, their beloved pets who are deceased. I understand some medical offices send the recalls to their inactive patients specifically, but in our practice management system, we have our client accounts, and each client has 1 or more pets on their account. "Active" indicates that they currently have that pet. Deceased pets are classified as "deceased" and there is a third classification of "inactive" for pets they no longer have, but are not deceased. We use recall reminders to remind them when their pets are due for annual vaccinations or specific services, so it is generally best not to send those regarding deceased or inactive pets.
2) We are unable to actually tell clients WHAT their pet is due for, only something vague, such as being due for products or services. The recall reminders should be able to show clients a list of what their pet is due for and when.
Using auto-text for appointment reminder messages and follow-up messages after appointments has been much more difficult than necessary as well.
1) The advanced filters have malfunctioned several times, causing our clients to receive incorrect appointment types, times, etc. which resulted in more than enough chaos.
2) I have had to disable automatic follow-up messages and go back to calling each appointment manually after their visits because even if the advanced filters function properly and schedule a follow-up for the appropriate appointments, the status-mapping is unable to filter through whether or not an appointment scheduled a few days ago actually came in or not, so we would send a text checking up on a patient we never even saw. There is also no way that I am aware of to allow us to look through the list of scheduled auto-texts and delete unnecessary ones.
The purpose of using Weave was to allow us to streamline things and save time, but so far, it has had the opposite effect..
