Our previous software had the capability to recognize a code at the beginning of our appointment descriptions that would cue the software to NOT send appt reminders/confirmations/etc. For example, we take patients to a surgery center for some treatment. Those appts involve a lot of moving pieces and we don't want patients to get notifications at all. So we have always been able to add the prefix "PNA" to the appt descriptions. Rather than rework our scheduling system and come up with new descriptions to work around Weave, I vote that Weave work for us by developing capability to recognize a similar type code and then be able to ignore appts with that code. Urgently. See attached image. For example, our surgery center appt descriptions include exact pt age for scheduling purposes, which would make every surgery center appt unique and difficult to exclude from reminders.
