NOT recording credit card numbers in call recording
I was doing my compliance for our credit card processing and we do take credit cards via phone and they asked is we had a program that does not record the credit card number . I called and asked if Weave offers this and unfortunately you don't, so thats my suggestion. Thanks Happy New Year

Would like the ability to turn off call recording on a call by call basis when we are about to take credit card information over the phone. The reason is that it is illegal to record information that includes a credit card number that includes a CVV code (the code on the back of the card)

For calls regarding payments where patients give card number over the phone it would be great if the call stopped recording during that time so no one could go back and listen for the sensitive card information

We have an issue with PCI compliance with credit cards if a patient calls in with their credit card number over the phone. This creates a security risk. I can think of a couple possible fixes for this. First, an option to pause the recording while taking the patient information. Second an option to just turn off the recording for a particular phone call. Third an option to press a button to introduce white noise into the recording while taking the information. The first two seem like they would be an easier option to implement. One possible other option would be to have a second, non recorded line that we could transfer the call to when taking credit card information. Thanks.
