Show Phone Number on Texting
I would like received messages to show the phone number from which it was sent to know what number to call or who is receiving the messages I send or when I need to call.
- I love having the actionable text messages it really helps filter out important messages. However, when a patient has opted out of texts and the reminder text is sent, I have to action the text that failed to send because the pt opted out.
- If a patient opts out of reminder texts, I can no longer text them at all. Is there a way to still be able to send actual texts even if they don't want reminders?
-I wish I could see what phone number text messages were being sent to as we have multiple children for a single parent phone number. Then when the kids get older, parents are requesting we text the child so the text stream is all children appts and I no longer know what number the text is actually going to go to because even if I try to start a new message, it will pull up the old message stream because the phone number is in their chart.
Many of our patients have multiple phone numbers that we text. However, at this time we are unable to see what number we are texting with, it will just have the patient's name on it. I think it would be much more helpful if the phone number can be labeled under the patient's name or somewhere visible so we can know if we're texting with mom, dad, nanny, etc. I know we're not the only one that needs this feature!
Caller ID for texts. It's nice that the text messages have a name associated with them. But I would like to know the number too, for people that have multiple numbers associated with their name. Like caller ID on a phone -- Weave translates the number to a patient name but the phone also tells you the actual number it came from.
I was wondering if you could add the number someone texts us from to the history, similar to how it shows what number they call us from. We are running into an issue where there are multiple cell numbers on a file and we don't know which one they texted from.
I would recommend that the phone number that is being used for the Weave account be displayed at the top of the app home page and on the desktop/portable phones. Somehow the phone number that was being used for my business was switched internally by Weave to my personal cell phone. We didn't realize until we called all our patients without any response. Then we made a test call to an employee's phone and found that it had registered as my personal phone number. This is extremely frustrating as then entire point of having a business phone system is to prevent patients from obtaining my personal phone number, unless it is specifically given to them. Also, we may not have been receiving all the phone calls that were meant for us. The technician that we spoke with to correct the issue explained that this is something that has been increasingly common internally with Weave.
It would be nice to quickly see the number a patient texted from. It only shows their name when the message is being viewed.
