Have phone settings restored after software updates
When software updates are pushed to our Yealink handheld wireless phones, our ring tone goes back to the default ring. It appears, and I was told by a Weave rep, that any settings are restored to default. For example, we have auto-answer upon picking up headset turned off, but after a software update, the auto-answer is turned on. We'd like for our phones to have the settings saved and restored after software updates are pushed. Thank you.

We are brand new to weave phones, only been using for 2 weeks, the settings that I set in the portal keep changing on their own! I don't understand why this keeps happening.

It would be nice if we can keep volume preferences saved daily instead of resetting when the phone sync.

Couple things: 1) The weave phones need to have their own hard internal storage, not affected by software updates; OR the ability to back up our contacts to a secure drive. And I don't mean by emailing you all of my contacts - which was the only option I was given. That is not only a HIPAA risk, it does not allow the option to then restore the contacts and settings. Weave did an update and all of my contacts (there were a lot) on the phone were erased. I was told that the phones are not directly linked to your system therefore there is no off line backup for them. Which is odd, because if that were the case, how did it manage to wipe it clean with a software update? They're obviously linked somehow. Please address this. 2) For Save the Date reminder texts, they need to be in a format that includes the year. It is very confusing for our patients who often get their routine appointments scheduled a year in advance. I had a patient ask to cancel an appointment for June 29th, thinking it was today, when it is actually June 29th of '22. She said she was confused because it didn't say the year. Please fix this. MM/DD/YYYY is just basic practice when writing dates, I don't think this should be any different. Even when we write appointment dates by hand we use this format. Please edit that - it would be a great help.
