Call Waiting Ring Feature
Our office would like the option for the call waiting notification to ring instead of beep.
Currently we are missing calls because the only person that is notified of the incoming call is the person on the phone. Other staff members are not aware there is an incoming call unless they happen to glance at the phone and see the notification for an incoming call. Or our office has already missed the call, and now notice the flashing red light indicating a voicemail.
Please provide this option with the next Weave update. We can receive many incoming calls within the same timeframe it can take to assist one patient. We believe it is a huge inconvenience to frequently put the current patient on hold, answer the other call to put that patient on hold, notify another staff member there is a call on hold, and go back to the original caller. Only to repeat the same process possibly 2 or 3 more times.
We made the switch to Weave to streamline operations, improve efficiency and productivity. The lack of the ring option for the call waiting feature undermines our goals for making this important switch. Please help us get back to our goals, by making this option a priority for your team, since it is a priority for ours.
