New Patient Text/Communication
Adding ability to communicate with new patient, send appointment confirmation
This is a technical limitation of how the PMS integration with Weave works - we require the patient record to be made in order to properly trigger appointment reminders based on the scheduled calendar event.

Hello, this is Artesa Family Dental, - we have been asking that you allow us to text back to non patients. Currently we have to to back to msgs, write down the number and reply via txt. It would be much easier and faster if you just allow us to reply via text from the received call.

We would like the ability to text a phone number that has called that is not yet associated with a patient. For instance if a new number calls in but is not ready to be converted to a patient, clicking on that number and having the ability to select "text" to easily be able to text that number that just called. Thanks!

Something that I wanted to explore was using Weave's text/email ability for our new patient intake. If we could get a name and email/cell and tell them we will send some information about the office, and also a link to do their health history and insurance information.

Weave needs to pull from NEW Patient info from Dentrix. NOT just established patients. Solution Reach does this, as does Communicator. Dental offices DO NOT create patient profiles (chart numbers) until a patient comes in for their first appt. This is how we are trained, so as not to create un-necessary charts.

There should be an auto-email or text template option that is specific for new patients when they make their first appointment. It would be ideal if you could also send attachments (i.e. for filling out a medical questionnaire in advance, etc.)

NEW PATIENTS, when we schedule a New Patient we had name and phone number. Would still be great, if when we text them, their is a way we can add their name to the text, w out losing it.

It would be so helpful to be able to send a different text reminder out to new patients so we can have different reminder instructions for them to bring in lists of medications, etc

New patients in the schedule who are not active yet need to be receiving auto reminders as well. Currently with our software (dentrix) new patient appointments are not recognized by weave and not receiving messages.

Is there actually a way for WEAVE to detect NP's in dentrix? We have NP specific information we want to go out and the only way I can figure out how to do this is by adding "NP--" in the appt description. Otehrwise there is no way with dentrix and weave to have NP's get reminders.

Allow new patients in Dentrix to receive a text reminder without having to create their patient file. Right now they show up as "New Patient" in the Weave database instead of their real name and they don't get text messages.

We need to have automatic texts with practice address, phone number, appt date & time, etc go to NEW PATIENTS.

Add a cell phone # field to new patients so we are able to automatically text them.
