One text/email for family appointments
Lighthouse 360 allows the mother or father on appointments to receive only 1 text message reminding them of their children's/parent's appointments starting at what x time. So if there are 3 kids scheduled with a hygienist back to back every 30 minutes, the appointment reminder would say "Hello Sara, this is x dental office confirming Holly, Madison, and Chris's dental appointments starting at 9:00 am on September 9th, 2016. See you then."
Our patients loved this feature with Lighthouse, but we love our Weave phones and texting. It would be nice to have this feature with your system however.
We are currently beta testing Family Reminders.
If multiple patients using the same phone number are attending on the same day they will get one reminder with all of the patients’ names and the time of the earliest appointment (additionally, there is an option to list all appointment times).
When patients send a confirm response to one of these text messages all patient appointments in the message will be confirmed.

We are a pediatric dental practice that uses Dentrix. We are having problems with Weave's automatic confirmation feature in both of our offices (6014506060 and 6012834800). The issue is occurring when Weave is confirming appointments and there are multiple siblings on the schedule. Weave is sending messages for each of the siblings, but when the parent responds "yes" to confirm it is only automatically confirming one of the multiple appointments on our schedule. For example, if there are 3 siblings scheduled, 3 messages are sent, the parent responds "yes" or "they will be there" and only 1 of the children's appointments is marked confirmed on our schedule. -

Hello! So we have realized that if more than one family member has an appointment on the same day, Weave only sends notification to one of the people if the phone number is the same. Several times now, patients have not shown up for their appointment because they are not getting the notification. If you guys could figure out how to fix that problem, that would be great! Thank you.

Our patient's have mentioned that they get multiple text messages/e-mails sent when family members are scheduled for the same day/time. For example, we had a family of 4 scheduled for the same day/time and the mom (who is the primary contact) received 4 text messages. Our last system sent out just one text, and that was "less annoying" for the patient. It would be great to have that as an option for families to only receive 1 message for appt reminders.

PLEASE make it possible for the "head of household" to be the default reciever of text & email appt reminders for family members with blank email/mobile fields. Our pediatric patients don't have emails or mobile #s & it's very time consuming to go back and edit those fields for every patient in every family. This would be a HUGE benefit. Thanks.

When Weave sends a confirmation confirming more than one appt on the same day (i.e. when a family has 2 or more family members being seen on the same day), for Weave to confirm ALL the appts for that day, and not just one.

Another automated reminder option would be to text/email the patient their family's appointments summary when the appointments are scheduled or changed (so they can put in their Google/Yahoo calendars). RevenueWell offers this.

Group or 'cluster' texts for family appts scheduled for the same day - send ONE TEXT for 3 appts on the same day instead of sending 3 separate texts.

When sending text messages it is best to send information to the account holder. Reason being, most of our patients are minors.
Also, when sending recall to a family if there was a way to send one message to all the people on one account, instead of seperate text messages. -

send out a family text for the appointments that have all in one text. We have had some families with like 4 appointments and they only look at the last text so they come at the time on the last text and dont look at all of them

Combined messages for family members, for example if a mom and 5 kids are coming in for hygiene appts, they get literally 6 text messages. It would be nice for them to only get 1 stating all their names. Thanks!

We are a pediatric office. We do not store text and emails in each child's chart, we contact the head of household. So, when we use the schedule function, we can't text or email from there because it pulls the patient's contact info (which is empty), not the head of household.
