Missed Call Text - Line Specificity
With the missed call txt, we have come to see a slight issue. Its great to have when receptionist are helping others on the phone and we miss a call, the txt message to the client is great. But we have a tree line system so when we are open clients leave voicemails for our doctors as an option. When they leave the voicemail, they still receive the missed call txt and to call back or txt in which can be confusing. The txt message should only go to true missed calls, not for doctor or technician med refill voicemails.

Please add options that allow the office to send to abandoned calls only. Additionally, different messages based on abandoned vs VM left. For instance, VM left might say, "Thank you for leaving your message. We will respond as quickly as possible." Abandoned message would need different verbiage altogether.
We currently have this feature turned off since it doesn't work for both types of situations.

Yes, this feature is essentially worthless, as it doesn't actually GO to missed calls. It's sent to callers who leave a voicemail. A real missed call text would go out to abandoned calls. It would be useful to have a "voicemail acknowledgement text" that could be set up by department, however, to help set client expectations--for example, how they'll be notified when prescription refills are ready or when they can pick up.

This feature is poorly designed. It goes out to everyone who leaves a message instead of abandoned calls. There's no granularity in settings, so callers leaving a message for one department get a blanket missed call text. Why not a "voicemail acknowledgement text" that can be configured by department for callers who leave a message and a missed call text that actually goes to missed calls--the ones that are abandoned prior to leaving voicemails?

It would be nice for a specific extension that just leave messages to not get the missed call text. They are just repeating what they said on the voicemail. It makes double the work because now 2 people are working on the same thing.

If we could customize the missed call text to be specific for whatever option the patient selected. Ex; pt selects option 1 for scheduling, so the msg might say 'we are sorry our scheduling dept missed your call....." Etc. Thanks for your consideration on this. Jane

The missed call text should only go to abandoned calls. Currently, our missed call texts only go to clients who have already left voicemails. I'm having a hard time conceptualizing the situation where that would be a good thing--seems like it would be more confusing having the same message coming in through 2 different avenues, potentially addressed by 2 different people.

Mobility Central.
This office also would like pts who leave a vm to NOT get a missed call text. Office is doing double the work because one staff member is over vm follow up, the other is over texts and they both end up reaching out to the pt.

Hi there,
It would be great if we were able to differentiate which missed call text was sent out based on who they left a voicemail for. For example, I would love to have a different message if they left a message on my personal VM than the one that's sent out for the general VM.
Thanks!

The text message seems to be going out to anyone that also leaves a message, so it's doubling up on us which is inconvenient for the Front Desk when they are fielding so many calls.
We only want missed called text to be sent to callers that abandon calls, not ones that leave a message.

On your "missed call text" can you add voice also. So It will be "missed call voice". -Matt

The way we have our phones set up is we use the general voicemail box as our clinic's prescription refill line. Yesterday we turned on our text missed call feature. What we are noticing is that every client that calls and selects to leave a voicemail to refill a prescription has been receiving that missed phone call text. Is there a way we can set up our system to not send a missed call text if the client leaves a voicemail period?
