Automated phone call reminders
It would be nice for patients to have the option for an automated phone call appointment reminder.

We have quite a few patients that do not participate in texting therefore, we have to call to confirm appointments. It would be nice if Weave had a paid add on for robo automated appointment reminder phone calls. Other companies have started providing this but we like Weave and don't want to switch communication softwares if possible. Right now, it takes us about an extra hour and a half daily to confirm calls which is challenging because we have a fairly high call volume practice.

Recorded message playback on demand. Our previous phone system allowed us to record messages and save to a line key on our phone. During a call whether we reached a live person or their voicemail, we could press the button to play the message and just hang up and the message would continue to play. Some patients are fine with text messages, but we prefer for some of these messages to be a warm voice message, particularly if it is a patient's first contact from our office, or they may not receive texts.
These messages could include: we received a referral and need you to call our office to schedule, prescription is ready for pick up, etc. These are messages that get communicated to patients dozens of times during the day. Due to the length of message and volume, this can add up to significant time saving for our staff. -

Coming from another reminder system that did this I was surprised this wasn't already available. This should certainly be a "last option" for reaching a patient with the priority being text/email and only put the patient into the calling queue if either of those reminders failed to go out for whatever reason.

Need robotic appointment reminder calls to patients who do not have cell phones. OR an easily accessible list of patients who DID NOT receive reminders.

Urgency: Please have a feature that will call the patient, we have an older clientele that does not use email or text and need to have reminders. A phone call would be a great way to contact them.

I went to a conference this weekend and was told by another similar company from yours of a feature that they have that is beneficial to our office. So basically they do everything that weave does but the difference is that they have a voicemail recording of the doctor and it calls all past due patients. For example, we would record our doctor voice and it would dial the patient's number, ring once and go straight to voicemail. The voicemail would be the doctors voice stating that he hasn't seen them and that they need call our office to get scheduled.
When I asked other offices that have this company they stated that in one day they scheduled 48 existing patients.
This is a very neat and important feature that you guys need to do. -

Please allow the system to send reminder calls older patient do not have cellphones to use text messaging nor do they use email. We are wasting time by calling patients and also sending post cards.

This is the idea: we pre-record a handful of standard messages - new patient welcome message, happy birthday message, appointment reminder calls, post op calls (the kind of message that my staff leave 40+ times a day right now).
Then whichever patients need to be called you just click a button and those messages get dropped directly into the patient's voicemail inbox. Their phone doesn't ring. Our message gets delivered, and it simply looks like they missed our call. I know we could simply text them but I think a voicemail is more personal. This would save us HOURS every day!!!!!! -

I know that there are email and text options to verify patients appointments, when their glasses and contacts are here. We are trying to have it where an automatic voicemail goes out to those patients who opt out of text messages or do not have a cell phone number. This can also be done so when a patients appointment needs confirmed it can notify and verify them as well.

I understand this post is years old, but would still love this. Many patients opt out of text reminders thus requiring staff to make phobe calls. Please consider adding this feature

A good feature to have is having the home number to be called to confirm appointment and any eyeware. A lot of the elderly don't have cell phones or only have a flip phone and for me to go through patients without a cell phone to call them is a waste of time. Thank you, Joanne Keller

1) I think it would be a good idea to do phone call reminders, as we have A LOT of elderly patients who do not use a cellphone for text reminders as well as email.
2) I think a text or email or even phone call reminder would be good for patient who booked an appointment in less then 24 hours of the appointment time, as alot of patients do sometimes forget and show up at the wrong time.
