Only send reviews after certain exam types
It would be very helpful if the auto review prompts could be set to only go out after certain exam types. We have turned Reviews off and are considering discontinuing it because it doesn't work for patients coming in for weekly therapy appointment or contact lens follow ups to be getting review requests after these appointments. Patients are getting annoyed when they get these review request texts every week after their appointments.
We moved several Reviews settings to Auto-Messaging (Portal > Messages > Auto-Messaging) and with this change there are several options available to you now!
- Flexible send time - send hours or days after the appointment start time at the interval of your choosing
- Filter review requests based on appointment type, appointment status, practitioner, and more
- Send a review request via email
- Add customization to your templates like First Name and Practice Name

REPLY YES YES YES!! I want setting options on reviews too. We are currently using another merchant because they let us shows how often the review go out.. 3 month, 4 months, 6 months.. On COMP Exams only ETC

Veterinary practices need the ability to exclude any visit that includes euthanasia or cremation from receiving automatic requests. We cannot use automatic review requests at all because of this. Filtering by appointment type only does NOT work because a pet can come in for a medical visit, receive a poor prognosis, and be euthanized. This filter is critical for veterinary practices.

1. It has been stated, but it is critical to not send reviews to patients who no show. The queue to send reviews should not be set BEFORE an appointment, but it should be after.
2. There should be a way to flag a patient who has already left a review to not receive another.
3. There needs to be a way to set auto reviews to send to certain appt types. No need to send a review to someone who comes in multiple times a week.
4. Yes, there is manual sending of reviews, but Weave is supposed to be efficient. Manually sending a hundred reviews a day is not efficient. -

We would LOVE to be able to choose who you do and do not send review requests to - based purely off of the appointment type they are scheduled for. For example, I work in the veterinary field, and having review requests get sent to a client that just put their pet to sleep is absolutely HORRIFIC. Not being able to choose has actually led to us turning off reviews entirely with Weave. We also do not have the time, nor the staff to manually send review requests to our clients.

I see that there is a limit for how many review texts a patient will receive, but I would like to filter the type of appointment that receives an automatic review text.

We should be able to control the amount of review requests a patient receives based on the type and frequency of their appointments. For example, a patient might come for a complete eye exam, contact lens check, and an intermediate exam for eye pain in a year. However, we probably will just want to send out the review request for when the patient comes for a complete eye exam in that year. Patients don't need to get too many review requests in a year from a practice.

We would like the option to send reviews to certain appt types in the template so patients coming for retainer repairs, comfort visits, etc. do not receive one. It would also be great to be able to set a time frame so they only receive one every 6 months. Our old system was set up this way and it keeps patients from getting annoyed with too many requests.

This! We are also scheduling for optical. Plus a patient may return 2-3 times for contact lens follow-ups or office visits. Sending them a review request each time they come in is too much. It should be an easy change to send review requests only for selected exam types. We are unable to take advantage of automatic review requests until this is available.

Reviews for specific appointments ONLY: It would be really awesome to which appointment TYPES would receive Review Links. With COVID, many patients have to schedule optical pickups, browsing, adjustments, etc. and patients shouldn't get spammed a review link for EVERY appointment. It leads to lower retention rates for text opt-in, and really creates a significant spam atmosphere. Please consider ASAP!
